He is not much words but did you listen to his myspace? He is pretty damn good...a little busy, needs to be more reserved with the frequency of his fills IMHO...but still.

Look here, Hudson Valley
Look how hardcore I am.

I'm tired of answering ads on these pages only to find poseurs, geeks and acoustic folk acts who want me to change my unique playing style to match their style.
I'm tired of answering ads just to find people with their own musical direction that disagrees with mine.

It's time for a band that is as unique and forceful as I am, and I'm taking no prisoners.
It's time for a band as generic and bland as the rest of my genre. Once you're in, there's no escape!

This monumental effort will require the cooperation of a thunderous bass player with the mind and skills to keep this beast of a freight train on its tracks while a talented drummer will unleash an unrelenting hailstorm of destruction down upon his kingdom of percussion.
Need a bassist and a drummer. Also, please take note of how hardcore I am.

The band will need to be as focused and driven as I am, willing to meet two, perhaps three times a week.
I like to think that 2 or 3 rehearsals a week means that I am focused and driven.

When I host a practice session, I treat it like an Ultimate Fighter match, where nobody leaves until someone taps out.
Nobody leaves until I decide I'm tired of playing.

If you think you've got the endurance and fire to keep up, then bring your best, but be warned... I don't let up, and I don't want to share a stage with anyone who will.
If you think you can follow my lead, great. If not, I'll kick you to the curb.

As you can see from my picture, I wear chain mail to protect my body from the rigors of extreme playing.
As you can see from my picture, I'm a weirdo. A HARDCORE weirdo.

When you step up on stage with a true performer like myself, it's like stepping into battle, only instead of swords and arrows, we fight with 32nd notes and pinch harmonics.
Playing with me will result in a painful and potentially harmful assault of too fast notes and feedback.

So in a way, the chain mail is largely symbolic, but my legions of fans have come to appreciate and expect it.
My mom will tell you how hardcore I am.

You may don similar armor, but only if it fits the theme (no hockey masks or umpire's vests).
You may only be as weird as me. Not less weird, and certainly not more weird. Oh, and you'll never be as hardcore.

You are expected to have suitable gear. If you can see the top of your amplifier, don't bother answering this ad.
If you have the good sense to use musical, efficient gear and letting the PA do its job, you might make my Marshall MG triple stack look silly.

It is expected that you will have a commitment to tone that approaches mine. (would be impossible to exceed, to be quite honest)
It is expected that you will have a commitment to toys that approaches mine (I think I own most of the Musician's Friend catalog, to be quite honest).

I have a pedalboard that is ten feet long and would not dare sacrifice a single effect for the sake of portability.
My gear is unplayable, excessive and heavy. Did I mention that you get to help carry it?

My pedals are alphabetized so that I can easily find them in the middle of "battle". Behringer up front, Zoom at the end.
I don't really know anything about the order of effects, so I found an arbitrary way to organize them... and I'm hardcore about it. Also, I like to invest in the highest quality brands of gear.

When you've been in the business as long as I have, you tend to come up with little time-saving tricks like that.
When you've been in the business as little as I have, you have to come up with something to look hardcore like that.

So that is my decree.
So that is my demand.

I know that many of you will mock my demands and continue posting your offers and requests for lesser musicians.
I know that many of you will want a "sane" person in your band.

You may continue to carry on at your own leisurely pace, hoping for a shot at a coffee house or open mic night.
All bands without me at the helm are doomed to failure.

I will not rest until we have our own stadium on the moon, with amplifiers pointed towards the sky's infinite expanses, so that we may truly rock the galaxy. I wish for you to join me on this epic quest.
I spend waay too much time playing Dungeons and Dragons and listening to Tenacious D.

Yours in hardcore rock

(quote from her myspace)
" really enjoy really bony parts of body’s such as collar bones, hipbones, spines, ribcages ect. "

Are you really sure about that?

some of you guys are really strange. Like her. I must just be old, she's scary as hell. I like 'em sort of "normal"....she doesn't fit that parameter.....this is what happens when you get married, have kids, and get old, I guess......I would never be able to sleep with someone like her around, be too afraid of Hitchcock's Psycho, or some other hack/slash horror movie taking place at my place......maybe there's a reason I keep a gun around......

In my defence I was pointing the bone thing out to another guy who said something about her. That was the creepiest myspace page I've ever seen

These ads are hilarious.

2005 or newer car? Ok, so most musicians are out there.

6 nights a week to play in a crappy cover band? Are you kidding?

You know, you have to admit. It is great that these egos and idiots write out their manifestos, so you can see them coming a mile away and not have to waste your time. I have been SO fortunate to play with some great musicians from all different walks of life.

"10 Foot pedal board alphabetized from Behringer to Zoom." That almost made me piss my pants...you are so hardcore and professional and name two of the cheapest, crappiest, effects on your 10 feet of useless gear. LMAO

We should make a band of all bass players, it would be so chill

Seriously, I wast GC the other night. There were three of us bass players in the 'bass section' and we were all chatting it up, trying each other's gear, adjusting tones for one another, just really digging some great time with one another. Guitards walked by astonished wondering, "Why are they not trying to show each other up!?"

Gotta love the music!
