My EBMM is on its way home today with a new neck! The service side of Music Man has been incredible, a true pleasure to deal with. I went into this thinking it would be a struggle and I think that made me even more nervous when it wasn't.

Unfortunately, your post was before I took over the list (at http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=468403&page=32), and unless people specifically asked for a number, I wasn't sure if they wanted in or not because the club was in disarray for a while. :/

Ive finally got my act together. Ive sold my 2 x late 90s/early 00s 3EQ 4 string Stingrays to make way for....wait for it:
2010 EB MM Stingray Classic Series - Classic White/Birdseye Maple neck and board/Tort Guard/2EQ with all the other cool Classic features.
AND (yes, Im a lucky chap)
2010 EB MM Stingray 5 - Humbucker plus Single Coil/White/Rosewood board/Tort
Guard/3EQ.
I cannot wait. The Classic will be a month or so....the Stingray 5 more like 4 months +.
I miss the old ones, but I needed these two basses!

wow, I thought that was a coral red/fiesta red classic. I have never seen a pre EBMM in that color. Very nice!

Dang it, Royce! That's two amazing red basses you have. Now my envy is doubled.I'll add a few more factory pics of the BP Live SR Classics. I recently bought this from Tommixx and love it. With this shade of red and the matching headstock, it's probably a one-of-a-kind, too. The birdseye maple neck is amazing.

I bought that 78er Stingray in the 80s for about 300 bucks... the owner stripped down the original black finish to make it a natural... it was in horrible shape.
In the 90s a luthier in Zurich refinished it and refretted it...
So the colour is not original.
