I hate to say this... but my new SVT7PRO (2 months old, can't return it) is cutting out! It's a Rev C00 and each time the A/C in my room wakes up from sleep mode, the amp 'reboots'. The PC is connected to the same power socket.
What now.![]()

My guess would be that the 1000W power amp is requiring a LOT of juice and whenever the A/C wakes up, it causes a lack of current for a short time and thus the reboot. But what if this happens during a gig? This is unacceptable!
The question the arises is why does it not happen with other amps, for example, the MarkBass that I have connected to the same socket? Or the PC?![]()

The amp and air conditioner run on different sockets but from the same breaker. It might be an actual problem with the electricity in my house/room, I'll try to check it and let you guys knows the results - Perhaps it's not an issue with the Ampeg after all... *fingers crossed*
Crap, it just happened again and I wasn't even playing the bass. It was plugged in and the amplifier was on as I was surfing TB... I heard the click-sound of death.
-EDIT: I still have it on and it basically cut-out and rebooted at least 5 times in the last 30 minutes. :|
