NAD! SVT7 Pro (also comparing it to my Streamliner 900)

I hate to say this... but my new SVT7PRO (2 months old, can't return it 
) is cutting out! It's a Rev C00 and each time the A/C in my room wakes up from sleep mode, the amp 'reboots'. The PC is connected to the same power socket.
What now.
My guess would be that the 1000W power amp is requiring a LOT of juice and whenever the A/C wakes up, it causes a lack of current for a short time and thus the reboot. But what if this happens during a gig? This is unacceptable!

Don't blame the amp for faulty/inadequate wiring.
The question the arises is why does it not happen with other amps, for example, the MarkBass that I have connected to the same socket? Or the PC?

Because Ampeg after 3 revisions has still not got it right. Sorry about your amp

A friend just bought used 7pro, rev 00, no cutting out, even at INSANE levels.
I got my PF 350 a week ago. No cutting out, even after 6 hours of rehearsal.
Maybe the best Ampegs are shipped to Poland?
Or we have better juice here?

so are you saying that you are running an Air Conditioning unit on an outlet that you're trying to run your 7 pro out of? Not sure if that's what A/C means for you. If you are that's just plain not a good plan. Your computer uses a teenie tiny amount of power compared to your 7 pro, and luckily for you Ampeg was smart enough to protect your investment for you. Sounds like Mark Bass may not?? More info is needed here....
The amp and air conditioner run on different sockets but from the same breaker. It might be an actual problem with the electricity in my house/room, I'll try to check it and let you guys knows the results - Perhaps it's not an issue with the Ampeg after all... *fingers crossed*
any update? I am considering this amp and a SVT Cl and DO NOT and can not afford to have this kind of thing happening! Thanks!
I connected the air conditioner to a socket on a different breaker and so far had no shutdowns/cutoffs. I'll have to play for a few more hours to feel 100% sure...
Crap, it just happened again and I wasn't even playing the bass. It was plugged in and the amplifier was on as I was surfing TB... I heard the click-sound of death.
-EDIT: I still have it on and it basically cut-out and rebooted at least 5 times in the last 30 minutes. :|

Simply plugging the amp and AC into circuits on different breakers does not necessarily fix the problem. You are still drawing current through the same main supply. Disconnect your AC and see what happens. You could have a defective amp, but it could just be protecting itself from brown out conditions, as others have mentioned. Whatever the problem, I hope you get it solved.
Ampeg replied my email and said that they can replace it for me but when they discovered that I'm not in the USA/Canada, I was pointed to the local distributor. A replacement is no longer an option, even if it is actually faulty. The way warranty works here is that they usually take it for 4-8 weeks and try to repair it and then just give it back, claiming that it's working fine.

Shouldn't matter where you live, depending on where u bought it. I bought mine from USA, so I fully expect to pay 4 shipping to get it back to the place I bought it. From there, it should all be covered.
