Guess I'll hold on to my cash until they release what's under those two covers, in hope for an overseas B15

sorry you can't see my eyes glaze overOnly by folks who don't know what they're talking about.
They use different pots (linear vs. log), the insertion loss is different, etc, etc.
Dear AmpegUSA (sorry I can't name you other than your nickname),
Thanks for these explanations. I guess nobody ever doubted the Heritage B15 is top notch. Nobody. Really.
OK, let's wait until the NAMM show. My personal wish is that you will introduce a "regular" all-tube B15 (I mean, non-Heritage), available to many users without the limited run. Which means do with the B15 what you already do with the SVT-CL and others.
Thanks again,
Jay.
"Bax" sounds like a character in an Austin Powers movie. Cool name, though.dude, then my nickname would be bax, not jimmy. how cool would it be to be named bax?

My name is Ryan. I have been with LOUD for nearly 5 years. Started in tech support and now work as the communications lead for Ampeg (and the other LOUD brands). I am an audio engineer by trade and a musician and homebrewer in the spare time. On Talkbass, I am officially representing Ampeg. So, anything I say is likely filtered through Pyotr Belov and whoever else needs to check it out before I post.
Thanks for the support, guys.
Any plans to add a model of this amp to AmpegSVX?
This would people compare it to other Ampeg amps even if they can't get their hands on one.
Thanks for the support, guys.

well i can't seem to convince my wife i need one of these, but i do think i've got her talked into letting me get a couple jbl d140's after christmas![]()
thanks for the in depth review.
It sounds good and they made the inside nice also...
sorry im horrible.. i only played a real b15 once before... i gotta say that everyone seemed satisfied. Darryl Jones did the demo but there was too much sound coming from the Ashdown booth to hear him play.

what about the back of it? what kind of stuff on the back? does it have (dare i say it?) a...a...di?
ok, i could live with the di, but if it has an effects loop and mutable tuner out, that would break my heart![]()

So you're saying it's not loud enough.![]()
