I'm not really in the market for any of this, I get my ampeg(ish) tones from other devices like the Tech21 VT, but I'm still happy to see the Yampeg merger produce some new products. While not huge innovations, it's still great to see them bringing these to market.

I been own Tech 21 Vt200 for home, and VT500+410cab for Band.

Both Vt bass amp can dial out SVT-ist and flip top-ist voice follow the EQ setting guide, but pretty limit Ampeg-ist tone range. Any tweak on EQ , those Ampeg-ist voice just out. Unlike the RB112, i can tweak the EQ how i want, but still in Ampeg tone house. Meanwhile, i can't get any muscle Ampeg heft from Vt200 . No problem with RB112.

I played through the Venture 410 today for a minute. I love the form factor, and it was crazy light, but didn't sound incredibly full down low (though that may have been because I didn't have much volume at all coming from the Eden head on top of it). It did have much more midrange snap to it than the ported Markbass 410 sitting next to it, which I find a lot of cabs just don't do well at low volume. I'm a little afraid I might like it too much if I go back and listen again, and I don't it with a price tag like that.

Man, I want a GR Bass One 800, and then this appears. I used a PF800 for years, with no issues. I'm really interested in the Venture 700 & 1200 watt versions. Currently using a Mesa TT800 that I love.....but this intriques me ......pairing them up with one or two of my Barefaced Super Compact Cabs.

I agree. All MFg's should include the bag in my opinion. $100 for the gig bag is ridiculous. Can find a Gator, etc. bag that is most likely better padded & less expensive.

Heads are all rated at 4ohm, and cabs are 8ohm... so the 410 can handle the 1200, 212 the 700, and the rest the 300.

I do find it odd that the 210 and 115 aren't rated for the 700... even doubled up. You have to go 212 or 410.

I guess I was thinking 4-ohm power and the whole line in general. Like your observation of the 210 and 115. I would want cabinets that were interchangeable throughout the whole line myself. No chance of a mixup.

After listen the Venture sample sound from Ampeg site, i found the V3+VB115 (classic B15) sound less B15-ist compare to Rocket RB115 (EQ flat) clip.

Anything under 500 class D watts is not giggable in my world. This should have been 500 watts or more.

I understand parts bin manufacturing. In my opinion, Ampeg should've released the amps first followed by the preamp. The price gap between the V3 and the SGT-DI makes you wonder if they had their ducks in a row before they planned to release these in the wild.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'pros and gear snobs are in a different category'. In my experience, most pros tend to be somewhat myopic and gear snobbish about their gear. I don't think anybody knows what Ampeg's bread and butter is these days. Not even Yamaha...

They probably wanted to see how people took to the new pre amp design before slapping them onto a full line of amplifiers.

Which, mine is still on my board, and I'm still running my di out of it. Not my amp.

Dang! And today is new amp day for me and everything. A V4-b is now shaking my walls through 2 15 inch cabs. I'm all set for now. These do look pretty cool, especially for the money and ease of transport and setup. Looking forward to some sound samples. If they sound anything like the SGT-DI, these should do well i would think.

These look pretty good. I like the XLR out pre or post eq. A good feature that allows a different eq for stage than the PA gets. They’ll be expensive in Australia I expect.
