New Dingwall website...WARNING: severe gas-inducement...

I'm another lefty (and a fellow Canadian) who be all over the chance to own a lefty Dingwall bass. I understand its a pretty small market but you might be surprised how many of us are out there.

They share the same pickups and preamp.

Sheldon,

Is it just my eyes playing tricks on me, or are the pickups parallel with each other on the LSS?

If so, why are the pickups positioned slightly different on the Z2?

Both the Z2 and the LSS seem to have the two pickups in practically the same exact placement apart from this slight variation. You've really got me curious...

That Z2 photo is a first run edition with Super-Fatties lined up with the harmonics.

The Lee Sklar has the pickups positioned parallel to each other.

All current Z series models have the pickups arranged in parallel formation.

Thanks!

I'm hoping Mr. Bowlus might feel inspired to present an Ed Friedland style demo with his new Z3. :hiding:

:D

Actually, one of my current goals is to bring a lot more video content to BGM reviews, so this may be a possibility. After all, it'd be a legitimate follow-up to my review in issue #2. :D

Of course, we may have a Combustion review for y'all before you know it... :ninja:
