With all due respect to fellow TBers, I have found that unless two instruments are both in hand, not all differences become obvious. The truth is that a properly set Dingwall and a properly set Sadowsky will both feel great, cause they are great bass to start with (and the Dingwall is not made to FEEL different, but the tension is more even accross the strings; scientific observation). But the finer differences need to be side-by-side comparison (that's why I bring 1-2 basses with me, from my herd, if I am to try a new bass).
