That was my first one. The cable was wrong, the adapter was right just not facing the camera. Now both wrong! Dongles and TRS adapters terminate in MALE XLR.
NO, I get it. No XLR out. I see that. Everyone sees that and yet, you are still beatin' that ol' horse
800 GOOD!

Dude, I meant no ill will and I am earnestly sorry if you took it that way. I do get it, really. And again I am sorryAnd you're not?
How many times do you need to proclaim that you don't get it? Find a pic for that and leave me out of it.. If my participation is bothering you, ignore me... and everyone else who seems to get what you don't. Or can't.
Seriously, if i go back and forth with you I get blamed. That's how safe spaces work. So you win. Mystery solved.

Ok I think we get the XLR thing! Anybody who has the amp care to share what they think of the voicing of the amp compared to the 800?
…
Then there's the FX loop. I bet not many people use that. One could simplify there if necessary.

Now most gigs I play, the sound guy will walk on stage with an XLR cable and ask if I have a DI. It's just the standard. There's a reason why most amps have one built in.
There is a d i on this model!Yep. Most gigs that I play these days(aside from Jazz/background stuff), when I get on stage there is an XLR cable there waiting for me. When I had the BB800 I only had a couple of engineers tell me that the signal I was sending was way too hot. I would have though that after all of the talk in the Quilter mega thread that they would have considered a full featured DI in the new model, but I guess we need to remember that TB doesn't encompass the entire bass playing worldPersonally, I bring a Neve RNDI to every gig I play now so its not a huge deal for me, but it would have been a nice feature to have.

Guys, I've read many posts on here about the Quilter BB800/802, but I'd like to ask why you have brought one, if it's isn't for its small size.
The reason I ask is I'm thinking of getting a new head to run a Helix Stomp in to a Fearless F112. I don't need a pre amp stage, although I do feel safer having one. At the moment I'm using my GK MB800, but I think it's colouring the tone a bit too much.
I guess what I'm asking is tone wise, what does this offer that other heads don't.
