Im thinking of asking Carey Nordstrand if he'll overwind some jazz pickups and pop them into a cover the size of my EMGs. The bass sounds killer, but Im leaning more towards that classic passive pickup sound these days.
You have to describe the sound of the bass when you get it.

This bass has EMG 40J's which are Jazz pickups in a Soapbar casing. It has a very aggressive, mean and nasty Jazz bass sound. Give a listen to:cgworkman said:How Jazz-like do these sound? Or, how do they sound since they don't have the traditional Jazz pups?
