as much as the valentini basses are nice

those headstocks give me a rash, thats the problem with all these fender knockoff's they try to make the headstock look different/ and nice while still keeping that nosalgic fender look. vaentini does the worst job

sorry. but everything else on them is sweet and i'm sure they sound great

laklands are the best knock off

I happen to disagree.

My favorite headstocks are Sadowsky & Valenti with Lakland following close behind.

We all have our own opinions so I guess its all good but there is a nice way and a rude way of expressing it.

Also, I wouldnt call Valenti basses knockoffs. I dont see Fender putting out basses with the same features I get from Valenti.

Been working on setting this beast up this morning and I have to say, I've never been able to set up a Fender style instrument as low with no buzz. I think it sets up better than my Smith. The playability is tremendous even compared to boutique. I'ver gotten addicted to the wide-flat (19mm) neck.

I put an OBP-3 in a few weeks ago and I think it's even more deadly now, soundwise.

The second pic shows off how beautiful the back of the neck/headstock is...gorgeous three-piece construction and the satin finish work is terrific.
