NEW Squier 50s LPB Single Coil Precision

Ahem!!

The founder of the SX Club likes that Squire, and is known to be fan of LPB. ;)
Fixed. Forgot a word.

I do like that bass. Very much so. I just wish Squier didn't make it because I am not a big fan of Squier basses. But who knows, maybe this is the one that will turn me into a Squier fan. (No sarcasm intended here). I wish SX would make something cool like that. And the color is awesome, no matter who's name is on the bass.

By the way, thanks for the SX Bass Club plug Joey3313. Free publicity is always appreciated.

I was just kidding man, I didn't mean anything by itLink Removed I agree, SX should make something like itLink Removed The LPB looks great on that bassLink Removed

:D

Whoa I don't think i'm gonna buy a fender soon, I'll be spending all my money on Squiers :P
I really like the vibe of that thing and my experience with the VMP is great, too bad it will probably take some time before those basses reach Holland

The Classic Vibe 60s Jazz will be my next bass. I just got off the phone w/ my local GC, they're getting deliveries Monday and Thursday next week. Hope one arrives... This might stop the GAS for a few weeks. (oh yeah, I ordered a WAV bass too, should be here soon... I gotta stop!)

Oh yeah, thanks a lot! I have never gassed for any Squier stuff, ever; until now.
I like it a lot. Now if they'd done it in Sonic Blue with some vintage tint to that
maple neck I'd really be getting my knickers in a bunch with a truly severe g.a.s.
attack.

How hard do you think it would be to put in a MM humbucker in the sweet spot on this bass? ive always wanted to put a humbucker on a '51 but knew it was too expensive this must be a sign

Squier!!!

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!?!?!?!?!

btw, I looked in the guitar section on Sam Ash and found the "classic vibe" guitars. A 50's stratocaster in 2 tone sunburst and 50's telecaster in vintage blonde, both with maple fretboards.

tasty.

Single coil '51-'56-style P basses are probably my favorite instruments ever, with the split-coil '57 and up P bass coming in a close second. And I loooove the color on this baby. Gorgeous.

My only beef with it is that I figure it's probably got an identical neck to the Squier VM Telebass, and it's just not a neck I care for. That's the main thing that prevented me from buying one a few weeks ago. I think Squiers are great overall, but I'm just not fond of those satin-finished necks. Too thin and somehow mushy feeling to me. Not comfortable to my hands.
