I was told by Samson that they would probably be released in Feb/Mar but they didn't know for sure. Couldn't give me a price either. Im interested in this pedal.

Thanks for the info. Nice of them to be vague during a product launch...I'll most likely grab as soon as they are available. Seems ideal for what I need.
I got the impression that they honestly didn't know much about it other than it was on Zoom's website.
grab it guys, its cheap, lightweight, easy to use, and play well with other pedals. just drop it in yer pedalboard and it just rocks.

Christ something like a "B5" would make my pedalboard obsolete! If it has an FX loop, you can choose the signal path of the effects, and if you can easily swap between patches/bypass in a single stomp I will have to get one
I'm pretty sure I will grab one when it comes out. Even if it's not the best for gigging (which it very well may be), it seems like a great practice/inspiration/writing tool. I think it will be great for teaching as well with its pictures of the pedals and large list of features. At this price point, it's hard to pass up.

how well do the distortion/overdrive and compressor effects work?
I would think this would work well with a preferred pre-amp pedal, and this may seem like a dumb question, but do all three effects stay on in a patch or can you just use one at a time?
one thing that bugs me about the floor pod is that the amp modeling is always on...

Loox like I'll be waiting for the B5, that's more likely to replace all the other goodyz and cover the trix.
There are 2 modes, pedal and patch. When you select a patch and switch to pedal mode, you get the 3 pedals from the patch with their settings. YOu can turn each of them on or off at will.
I don't know if you can have a patch recorded with pedal state on or off, I need to try.
G5 looks fantastic, if a B5 comes out I'd be a buyer.

Zoom has always had cool and useful step filters, the only thing I have that is cooler it the AdrenaLinn III and only because you can program a step sequence and an easier tap tempo. .
Well I have the Pitchfactor and I really enjoy the arpeggiator settings that are available. I've always enjoyed the step type settings in all the pedals I've owned.
It is very difficult to choose what to do when trying a multi.

When it comes to step filters, the Korg 3000B is king, with its programmable step sequencer and randomizers.
