And you'd have so many future HOF quarterbacks at your disposal!

That Raiders game was pathetic. They got embarrassed by some kid that had never been on the field before.

And I get the rebuilding, but Gruden is a terrible coach. That defense would get shredded by a decent ncaa team.

I watched about a quarter of that game, and man...I've always thought Gruden was a pretty bad coach with a rep built on Tony Dungy's roster, but that is now beyond "thought". Pathetic is being nice. Chucky's Comedy Tour indeed...unless you're in the Raider Nation, and then, wow...

I was amused by Chucky as a commentator sometimes, but as a coach, he's just...well...out of his depth.

Indeed buddy.
In my mind, it says a lot about ownership and the front office management team when they get fooled into hiring someone like Gruden to lead an NFL football team on the field.
Makes me wonder if they make the hire to sell tickets, look cool for hiring the trendy guy with the big rep, or just purely a PR move with no intent to actually win games.

Chiefs won fairly easily as expected. But what was up with the officiating? Some really crappy calls! What the heck was that intentional grounding call? Also should have been a strip and turnover against the Browns but they ruled it an incomplete pass! I was starting to think the refs were all Cleveland fans.

I didn't see the game, just the stats and some highlight video. If the Browns' defense could stop the Chiefs, it looks like their offense was plenty adequate. Mayfield threw for almost 300 yards and two touchdowns. Only problem is that Mahomes threw for almost 100 more yards, 50 of it on a screen pass that included what looked like some pretty lousy effort by Browns defenders.

Bradford to the Pack for some veteran backup insurance?

They'd need to have a third stringer ready for when he gets injured on the first play.
Y'all beat me to it. Here's the breakdown of where the Cardinals' employees Christmas bonuses will be spent for the next few years...
Sam Bradford got paid how much from the Cardinals? For doing what?
Hate to say 'I told you so' but I lamented his signing from day one. Numerous times here on TB. They (Cards) never listen...:rollno:

OK, so yeah...I typically wait until at least Tuesday to say anything about the games...but...awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwyeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh... :hyper:

To put it another way, now that we have tripped off 7 straight, and knocked off the last undefeated team, "we are the ones who knock"....

Admittedly, I didn't watch a lot today, but I won both fantasy matchups and made $226 on betting sites, so I can't complain too much.

My Eagles clearly aren't going back to the Super Bowl this year. Whoever they play in the playoffs (if they get there), whether it be the Rams or the Saints is going to be a shootout, and I don't know if the Eagles can do that this year. We'll see how much Sproles helps when he gets back, and of course Golden Tate.

Continuing on my "awwwwyeaaaahhh" celebration/annoying Saints fan tour:

"The Saints don't just beat you. They decide how you're going to be beaten."

(NOT my words, a quote from this article: Overreacting to NFL Week 9: Ready for a Brees-Rivers Super Bowl? )

I'm doing my best to not drink the koolaid, but right now...it's orange and tasty. :bassist:

18-1? Would ripping off 18 straight with a win in the Super Bowl help stuff a sock in the goofy 1972 Dolphins celebration? I would like to find out... :D
