Haven't made it through a full game this season. If you told me the Raiders scored 63 points for the season I would have believed it. Checked the score/stats. As long as the next GM/HC combo doesn't trade Crosby I will know exactly one current player going into next season. The stadium looks nicer than Oakland though...

If one wants any evidence that Mike Tomlin has no clue how to manage an NFL game, consider this...
Colts up by 14 with just under two minutes left and they are in FG territory.
Pittsburgh has two timeouts. The Steeler offense hasn't scored a TD since the first minute in the second quarter. Indy is in victory formation, ready to go home.
I'll give you three guesses what Tomlin did, and the first two don't count. Yep, used both timeouts.
Then to cap it off, Pittsburgh does get the ball back after the Indy FG to go up 17. What do they do? Run it twice to end the game.
Tomlin has lost it, completely. Zero understanding of game and clock management and no respect for your opponent.

I've never seen a Steeler D be so completely impotent defending the run as what I saw yesterday. Everyone but TJ has given up and are just phoning it in and trying not to get hurt before the season ends.
They have to win two of these last three to preserve Tomlin's golden record.
13 straight run plays on that drive. Embarrassing. Everyone in the stadium knew what was coming next, except the mighty defensive coach Tomlin. It'd be a shame if the Steelers fired the DC too since all he is is a puppet for Tomlin.
Yanno, I agree with something you said earlier in this thread. It's time for Rooney to go. He is not half the football mind of his father or the Rooney's before him.
Then, do the right thing and trade TJ to a real football team so he has a chance to win something more than 7-9 games a year.

Mike, I thought of you this morning. On "Get Up" Greeny, Dan O., Rex, and 'Nique were talking about whether Tomlin could be in trouble. "RIDICULOUS!!", seemed to be the unanimous reply. They opined that 29 other teams would LOVE to have him, and what a wonderful coach he is! A love-fest like no other. It was like "How could anyone DARE question the coaching superiority of the great Mike Tomlin??"

It's not fair for the Steelers to keep all that greatness for themselves for so long. Tomlin needs to be great somewhere else. The Steelers can make do with some sub-par coach.

Interesting. Maybe I'm missing something and he is a great coach. I like to think I know about football, but maybe I don't.
I will say this, he's been a gentleman and good man the entire time he's been in Pittsburgh and I am sure grateful for that. We don't read stories about him breaking the law or engaging in socially unacceptable behaviors. He knows how to handle himself when a microphone is stuffed in his face and the tough questions get asked. I like that about him, that's for sure.
