He's clearly not a good GM (at least any more), but maybe he could get more out of a talented roster. However, neither Dallas or Philly ended up firing their coaches.

I'm excited for the Chiefs/Ravens game. Best QB in football vs. the probable MVP, with lots of weapons and strong defenses on both sides to boot. Baltimore is favored, and I get it. Jackson is so hard to stop, and their defense is lights-out. The Chiefs have been less-than-great most of the year, but seem to have found another gear in the playoffs. Granted, some of that may be because they played two defenses (Miami and Buffalo) that were each missing a bunch of starters.

But Mahomes is so fun to watch because he can do stuff like this.
Also: the Mahomes-led Chiefs have been underdogs in 11 games so far. They are 8-3 in those games!
I still don't know who I'm rooting for. I'll be happy with either one of these teams in the Super Bowl.

Wish they'd quit showing Taylor Swift every time Kelce does something.

CBS had to bring any extra cameraman just for her.
Chiefs got called for holding on back to back plays at the end of the half, including on what would have been a touchdown.

My team won’t be there next year because we hired a coach with a very lopsided losing record who was our DC in our worst season in over a decade. But maybe that will be enough to drive the necessary management changes that we will need to finally have a winning season.

I'm not fussed about this myself. What's her total screen time during a game? Most shots are a couple seconds. 30 seconds total at most in a 3-hour game?
Aside from Jackson looking less than MVP level, the Ravens had a serious case of the stupids with all the penalties.
Congrats to the Chiefs for a big time win. The Ravens were outplayed and outcoached today.
Ravens had a bit of a come apart. But also KC’s D and O line are so good this year. That was a crazy game.
Lions totally blew it. Way too many dropped passes that should have been caught. And Dan Campbell opting to go on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal that would have put them ahead by 3 scores. Yeah, I know. He's a riverboat gambler. But that play was the turning point and the Niners totally seized the momentum after that.
I was really hoping Detroit would get to the big game, but I guess it wasn't to be. If they had, I'd have rooted for them in the S.B. But since they didn't, go Chiefs!!!
By the way, did anybody notice whether McCaffrey came back into the game after landing on his head/neck? It was scary when he hit. I was glad to see he was able to get up.

I only saw the first half of the first game and the last quarter of the second. Just got done watching the recaps.
It looked to me like Ravens had the yips. Yeah, the touchback rule is stupid, but it’s stupid both ways. You’re the best team all year on your home field and you score 10 points against the reigning SB champs? Not good enough.
Jackson needed to be MVP Jackson tonight, and for whatever reason, he wasn’t. Kelce and Mahomes played lights out in the 1st half, and the defense made it stick in the second. The KC defense is no joke. We aren’t used to saying or thinking that, but it’s still true. They managed to pressure and rattle the MVP again and again, and then in the end , he made a terrible pass that pretty much ended things. Also, that last pass by Mahomes to MVS to get the first down that let them run out the clock was a work of art. The arc of that ball was straight outta Michelangelo. Ballgame.
I was running sound for a jazz society concert during the first half of the second game. At halftime, I hear “Lions 24-7”, and I’m thinking “great”! I don’t know what happened to the Lions O in the second half, but it looks like they folded against one of the best defenses in the league. It happens, I guess. The Gibbs fumble was huge. The Ayuik catch was a fluke, but still a great play. C-Mac was C-Mac. The Lions should be proud in spite of it all. Yeah, the 4th down fails were dumb, but if they’d succeeded they’d have been genius, and tough genius. They should hold their heads up.

Kudos to the Niners for a big comeback against an energized Lions team. I can't knock Campbell for going for it, that's consistent with his philosophy--which worked very well this year. I still think Purdy, while certainly talented, has been one lucky son of a gun in the playoffs. Not just on the crazy play; if you took a drink every time he hit a defender in the hands with a pass, you'd be blotto (at least I would).

Also, Flowers was brilliant at times, but also made some really bad mistakes. And Mahomes and Kelce were absolutely locked in in the first half. MVS even made a clutch play at the end! I think Jackson will have them back in the hunt next year.
