I don't get it. The offensive line wasn't one of the Steelers problems that needed addressed in the first round.
Matt Canada is the problem with the Steelers offense and Broderick Jones isn't going to fix that.

-Mike
I agree about Canada. I'm surprised he wasn't let go at the end of last season. But I don't think Dan Moore is the answer at left tackle.

Update--a 700% return over 24 years, on top of millions in yearly profits, despite the fact that you did a really bad job.:rollno: Oh well, at least this jackass is finally out of the league.

I'm sorry- the Washington Football Team was the best name since the Card-Pitt Carpets. Snyder did an upper decker on everyone by changing the name to Commando or whatever- then leaving.

It's Washington Football Team.

I really liked that name, too. WFT has a good ring to it as well.

Like usual, the Seahawks confound everyone with their draft selections. More confounding to follow, no doubt.

Pittsburgh Badgers

Loading up on those quality Wisconsin players. Smart move by the Steelers. Draft quality men who know how to win and play tough teams week in and week out. The Big-10 is no joke. Smart too grabbing teammates. That'll help the transition to NFL life.
I feel good about the Steelers next season.
Lamar Jackson got his big payday, so he's going to take it down a notch. They'll only need to figure out how to beat Burrow now.

NFL investigating Colts CB Rodgers for betting.
The NFL will need to get a grip on this before folks start getting a mind to sue the NFL or ask for their ticket money back because some folks don't want to watch fixed games.
I've been losing interest in the NFL already for other legit to me reasons, but you can be dang sure now I will never in my lifetime buy another ticket to an NFL game. Yeah, I know, the NFL doesn't give two cares about me and my decision.

Best pick of the draft so far made by Pittsburgh, leading off the second round picking Peezy Jr.
Beeeeeee-yeeeaaaaahhhhhhhh.

I went to Steelers training camp last Thursday. They have 5 Quarterbacks in training camp. They also had a lot of wide receivers and tight ends. It was the first day of training camp and the temperature was in the mid 90s so the activity was not full blown. Nice weather and not a huge crowd for the first day and it was fun to watch.

Keep my coaches name out of your mouth.

Ha!
Lol, Aaron's goofy. He claimed Payton was trying to make excuses in case the Broncos' season didn't go well. Er, what? If anything, Payton raised the (very low) bar for his performance by saying it was all the previous coaching staff's fault and that Wilson is still really good. Payton is generally a jerk, but there's a lot of evidence that Hackett did a lousy job as a head coach.

I will give Rodgers credit on another front, though. He's smart to give up most of his $50M salary this year so the Jets can get him more help. The Pack couldn't afford to do that last year, which may be a big reason why Rodgers put up crappy numbers.
