I'm praying for Mario to be there at pick #5, but I fear the Aints will grab him at #4. If so, the Pack will probably take Hawk, but then, they are left with the dilemma of what position to play him, and what position to play Barnett. I assume as it is, Barnett would remain in the middle, and Hawk would move to weak side.

Oh wait, haven't you heard the news? T.O. wants to play on defense too! Ha ha! Man, we Cowboys fans are in for an interesting season!!! ;)

Woops. I forgot ol' Woodchuck be a Falcon backer. Abraham will do fine in Atlanta.

I feel like the scorned boyfriend in this deal, so I took a shot at Abraham. You know the whole, "I didn't want to go out with her anyway" line after a girl turns you down??? Yeah, I feel like that. :)

To be honest, Abraham has shown signs of inconsistancy lately. Maybe a change in scenary will do him. Although, I like the Falcons and they're the home team, my heart is with the Panthers.

I myself don't believe that Saints should draft Mario... but the idea that a team should draft the best player available is a valid one. Pundits, it seems, tend to focus on team needs when speculating who will go to whom in the draft and for good reason. But especially early in the draft with so much riding on each selection (so much investment in time and money) who can afford a bust?

I always think back to the 1989 draft when the Packers with the second selection took Tony Mandarich. Tony... Mandarich... big hulking steroid boob... ugh. And the Lions walked away with Barry Sanders with next pick.

I'm not saying either approach is right or wrong, but they are both valid ways of trying to build a team... and probably the best approach is some combination of the two.

I don't think Mario Williams is rated over AJ Hawk. Well he could be, but i think AJ Hawk is a mauler who could start on any team right now, and the Saints need more help at LB now more then any other position. If the Saints do draft Mario Williams then they deserve to lose in my opinion. It sort of reminds me how the Lions took 3 WRs in the first round of 3 consecutive drafts. Sure they're good, but have the helped Joey Harrington and that team get better? Obviously not.

I think the Raiders and the 49ers are teams in the top 10 that should definitely draft BPA.

I hate the way Brett holds the team hostage every year. Just make the damn decision already! Personally, I think he should hang 'em up.

I guess since he was really good 10 years ago, he can do that now. It's all the nostalgia lovers in Green Bay feeding his ego. It's not like Favre is going to magically show up to training camp with the skills and energy to play like he did 10 years ago. Favre is done folks. stick a fork in him. He'll probably play this upcoming season, and only embarass himself.

Embarassing or not - he'll probably do a better job than Aaron Rodgers anyway.

Name one QB who would have done better than Favre on GB's injured team last year.

Done? Certainly not physically. It's only a matter of how much longer he wants to play.

I love how people who don't know sh*t about the situation have such a strong opinion on it.
