Cool. I haven't had access to my computer today (I normally check out JS Online's Packer Plus for my daily fix).

That's good news...yeah, Pickett is supposed to be a good run stuffer. Now if we just had an offense.

I think Mario will be there at number five, given the other team's needs ahead of the Packers. Even if he is not...there is always Hawk too. Could be an interesting defense at least.

I wish Walker wasn't such a butthead. He's not an "elite" reciever yet...at least he hasn't proven it over the course of a few years. Lots of one hit wonders in the league. Now that he had that injury, it would just be stupid to give him the kind of contract he wants...at least now. but now he's just being the typically selfish "Owens" type person.

We've been spoiled by success for over a decade now...so it will be a season of unknowns. Which sometimes can be fun to watch. With what we had, I always could count on us winning the majority of games (aside from last year's abberation...I mean really, who else had to put up with THAT many injuries to key players?).

as much people hate on TO because of his attitude, he is an excellent football player. he is a hard worker and he will definitely catapult the cowboys into serious contenders because his presence alone will make that whole team better (especially bledsoe)....unless he becomes a little princess of course.

wouldnt you say its pretty much common sense that TO would have that effect? he's such a great player and he had that effect on the eagles, but i seriously would feel bad for you cowboy fans he starts his crap again. i dont think he will though.

ok ok...dont laugh everyone...but i think the browns can make a legit playoff run this year.

what's with the patriots? have they done ANYTHING yet? maybe they're saving money or something but i can think of a few positions that they could have gone after.

we should start some mock drafts pretty soon...

For sure. I don't think anything you or Eric Allen said was the result of some deeper understanding of the game. It was just funny how his comments were almost identical to yours, and in nearly the same order. If I did not know better, I would of swore you did a cut and paste. :D

haha, i just checked out his column actually when you said that, and i think he made some good points...like how Parcells was one of the only coaches in the league who might actually be able to contain him...and also how Owens might take him more seriously because of his super bowl experience. he also says how Owens could have a ton of incentive to play his first year with a new contract, but then he could start complaining about the next year. it will be interesting for sure.

I say no way. Every ego-maniac coach thinks he is going to "the one" to tame the outlandish athlete. Smart guys like Holmgren, Cowher, Belichick, Dungy, and Shanahan stay away from these loose cannons.

People in Philly thought it would be worth the headache to get to the Super Bowl. Go ask them now, after TO booked town leaving the team in shambles. I know other things contributed to it, but it started with TO. Someday, people will learn that guys like TO just aren't worth it. The return is just NOT worth the investment.

Seattle made it to the SB with a handful of receivers no one ever heard of. Pittsburgh made it with one big name guy. New England has always had average WR's. Before TO, Philly had no one, and they went to the NFCCG a few times.

Being from Cleveland, I would love that ... but, not in their division. They've got to play Cincy and Pitt twice a year. Even Baltimore could split their games with Cleveland. If the Browns were in the NFC West, sure, they'd make the playoffs, but so would USC.

I am first and foremost a Steelers fan, and I always will be. I live near Seattle, and have a couple close friends in the Seahawk organization. For those reasons, I am a fan of the Seahawks as well.

I call myself a Steeler fan who also likes the Seahawks. Now you can imagine how difficult it was for me to watch the SB. I was totally behind the Steelers, but it was a bummer watching them beat the other team I like to cheer for.

BTW....you aren't going to be seeing someone like Jake Plummer putting a beat down on TO. TO is a chiseled piece of muscle. Plummer is a little scrub.
