Careful Jim, Terrell is going to have a score to settle with Philly. So tell Reid to put the Cheesesteak down and find a way to cover ... oh, there won't be a way, who am I kidding?

Terrell's first celebration for a TD, (at a home game, of course), will be to find his way back to the star. How much would that kick ass if George Teague, (in street clothes), came running onto the field and drilled him?!

I guess I'm an Owens fan now. :rolleyes: I guess I have to be.

Actually, the star, the Sharpie, the pom-poms don't bother me. (Well, the pom-poms a little. Did you see the way he just grabbed them from the girl, and when he was done, didn't hand them back, just flopped them on the ground for her to pick up. Kind of weird, I think). I don't mind TD celebrations much, often they're fun. I do think though, as Steve Largent once said when asked about his feelings on the subject, that it draws attention away from your teammates that helped you get there. The receiver isn't the only one responsible for the TD. Does he forget that he has an offensive line? More than anything else, I feel bad for Owens. He obviously just hasn't grown up yet. The way he interacts with other human beings shows such a tremendous immaturity, and that is more sad than anything else. I hope he grows up, first and foremost for his own sake. I always feel bad for the guy, like he just needs help and guidance in becoming a better person. Of course, that's something that most of us struggle with.

All that being said, I would rather he not join the Cowboys. I don't care so much about image. People are always going to hate on the Cowboys, and that's fun. That's part of being a fan of sports. Personally, I don't find anything wrong with McNabb, but I just can't freakin' stand the Iggles, so I'm gonna talk smack. And if anybody starts blastin' the Cowboys, calling them all thugs and prisoners, then I'd tell them to first, remember it's not the mid-90s, and second, even if it were, how sad that they let a couple of players on that team form their image. I heard a Redskins fan talk about what a class act that organization is and how they'd never let Owens join them. Yeah, that Sean Taylor kid sure is a role model. Every team has immature and sometimes criminal players. It's the nature of the game right now. So sad really.

Well, I stand against the signing, but I will say that if the Cowboys win a Super Bowl with him on the squad, I'll celebrate as much as the next guy, cause there were 52 other guys, and a whole coaching and administrative staff that helped make it possible. And, ring #6 would be so so so very sweet.

OK, we bit hard last season...with all that BS turmoil, who wouldn't?

Instead, let's focus on a team that many picked to play/even win the Super Bowl...the 'lanta Falcons.

Atlanta's defense has been carrying them. When they don't get to rest, due to a sustained drive by the offense, they're not going to be good for long. Also, I think Vick is still confused as to WHAT this offense is. Plus, the receivers aren't that good. Michael Jenkins has promise, but he hadn't done anything yet. My Panthers on the other hand......:bassist:

I knew this was coming: Seahawks let Vikings take Hutchinson for $49M.

It's alright. Seattle can spend the money elsewhere, and get better value. Hutch was one of the top three guards in the league, but with Walter Jones next door, any guard will play better. Time for Pork Chop to take some snaps on the left side.

Julian Peterson will hopefully be wearing a Seahawk uniform by the weekend.

Off to the Steelers. Lee Mays signs up for one more year. He'll fill Randle El's shoes, hopefully. Good to see most of the free agents staying home. I was sad to see Kimo leave, but even more happy to see DeShea sign up for four more years. The secondary should be good and strong even though Hope left.

Imagine Samkon with an entire offseason for conditioning and training... and to get reps as the no. 2 back. :hiding: I'm not saying he's a premier back, but Willie Parker came out of nowhere, too. Plus, we resigned Henderson so we still have a good FB.

I just hope the Packers land AJ Hawk or Ferguson (though I don't think he'll be around that long). Mario would be cool, too, I guess... but you can't beat a top LB or OT for really setting the pace of the game.

The Pack needs an OT like they need the salary cap removed.

They need guards if anything. On defense I'd be happy with either Hawk or Williams.

It will be very interesting to see what Gado can do this year. He's young, fresh and has shown he's got what it takes.
