The lions could have come back, wish they'd have made that last pass... but then again, Northcut was downfield, which means they had no chance to complete, regardless.

Gotta give a shout out to the Bengals. Except for the two missed tackles on the last Ravens drive, they played incredible football today. Good to see the recent AFC version of the Lions are doing some good things.

Just noticed that the Dallas/Kansas City game KC will be wearing their Dallas Texans uniforms. So essentially it's a Dallas vs Dallas game

Well Dallas Won!
In an OT squeaker, they pulled one out. Romo played fairly well No INT's a Couple TD's etc.
But MAN was I impressed with Miles Austin. 250 yards catching (team record) including the game winning TD.
It was his first start and he made some really tough catches.
I saw a couple ref goofs with Dallas fumbling the ball but being ruled down. And a Helmet to Helmet on Romo (Brady Rule) that wasn't called. Same Ref that Brady talked into the cruddy call last week.
Dallas' defense was poor(last drive especially), including a bundle of offsides calls, but they did well enough not to give it away.
I still say let Romo chuck the ball more often, instead of dink & dunk passing ALL the time. Lots of RAC for Austin.
It wasn't "impressive" but IMO it wouldn't have been that impressive to have beaten KC 52-0. After all they're still winless and in transition.
Miles Austin's effort was infact impressive.
That's all I have to say about that

Not to take anything away from the Falcons, who are playing great ball, but the Niners are killing themselves as much as Atlanta is. Shaun Hill still isn't getting any pass protection (a problem all year), is out of sync with his receivers (9/25 right now), threw a bad interception and of course can't throw downfield so the defense can creep in.
And still it was a 14-10 game before Nate Clements blew an easy tackle that turned what should have been a 10 yard completion into a 90 yard touchdown for Roddy White only to have Delanie Walker (carrying the football like a dirty diaper) fumble on the ensuing kickoff leading to another touchdown.
Defensive miscues, awful offense in every area and dumb penalties are just NOT going to get it done against a good Atlanta team.
Oh and mark my words - unless they draft someone this year, Nate Davis will be the starting QB for the 49ers some time next season. I really like Shaun Hill and want to see him succeed but all the moxie and leadership can't make up for deep balls that look like punts coming down.
Jesus.

I've never thought that before, but you're right. Just wish he wasn't playing like him too.
Sitting in a room on a floor in a dorm full of donkey fans, I have officially changed my fan status from the Raiders to anyone who beats Denver.
I would cheer for whoever was playing Denver for you, but since that team is the Pats this week, I have to officially denounce the filthy accusation that the Broncos even played this week.
