NHL 2013 post season thread!

I heard Tortorella explain why he made Richards a healthly scratch rather than play him on the fourth line and it actually made sense to me. He said that Richards is not a fourth line player and therefore doesn't give the team what it needs on the fourth line. It begs the question of what line should Richards be on and if he doesn't fit the Rangers system on one of the top three lines, perhaps either he will be gone or the Rangers will gone to a different system.
Well, he's had a tough Playoff run, that's for sure. I thought for sure he was playing injured since he didn't have that jump to his game.

Meanwhile, Stepan has worked himself into the #1 centerman on the team. Brassard had an amazing run, and Boyle is a perfect 3rd line centerman. So you have either the league's highest paid athlete centering the 4th line with guys who don't have the hockey IQ or skill to put the puck in the net or you bench him... or, another option would've been to put him on the wing. Their roster of RWs is pretty poor.

I personally would've transferred Richards to the RW on the 2nd line.

I wish now I had convinced some of my friends to stick around and watch the entire game seven with me. In my opinion, that was a perfect game to introduce new fans to the sport. I found myself standing up in my living room for the last five or six minutes. My dog looked at me like I was crazy.
