Didn't think NHL players get to play in the Olympics....Lots of talk around here about the Leafs taking a run at him, but with the money they are going to need to pay the kids in a couple of years, not sure how they can. Nice to dream though, he really is a complete player. Imagine him with Matthews or Marner....

Mike, you're right about Sedlack. But even though I'm a Jackets hater, I gotta give that guy credit. Sedlack is NOT a fighter by any stretch but he immediately and without hesitation jumped in and stood up for his teammate. Against one of the strongest guys in the league. Yeah, he likely won't want to do that again but props to him for showing some guts.

And FWIW, I'd like to see Reaves on Sid's wing a few more games. Loved it!

I missed the first period, so I missed the stand Sedlack took. Good for him.

I was lucky enough to see Foligno and Malkin go at it though. Malkin got in the best punch, but Foligno made up for it in volume. That was fun.

Can’t see Tavares on the Leafs anymore since they won the Matthews lottery.
No room for two first line centers.
They’ve got the 3 kids to sign, and if anything, they need to focus any extra money on a high end Dman.
I can see them swinging Nylander into 2nd line center, because Bozak won’t be back next year, JVR will be gone as they have a wealth of NHL ready wingers waiting in the, umm, wings.
So the question is, how are some of the European drafted defenseman going to pan out, so we know how hard we have to go after Erik Karlsson next year, lol
