I didn't really think the Brown hit was as terrible as some of his other historic cheap shots, but once again, there was absolutely no reason for it. He claims Schultz toe-picked immediately before he hit him, but replay shows otherwise. Another bonehead hit by Brown.
A couple years ago, back when the Coyotes were an NHL team, they played the Kings in the WC Finals. Mere seconds before LA won the series in OT, Brown sticks his leg out and nearly ended Michal Rozsival's career. Then he tries to explain to Shane Doan in the handshake line that it wasn't intentional. Yeah, right.
Liked him on the US Olympic team, but not so much anywhere else.
EDIT: Just saw the clip of Geno racking Brown between the legs earlier in the game. Can't help but think it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
