Nope. Not buying that. When two TEAMS have played through a whole game and an overtime period with no clear winner, there is no reason to change the game from a TEAM sport to an individual skills competition. Either continue the game, or call it a draw.
No reason? Other than baseball, which drags on indefinitely,almost every major sport alters the rules for OT in some way.
I don't have a problem with draws either, but if the sport decides a draw can't happen... well, nobody has eight hours to invest in watching a hockey game.
