Over the years I'd always thought Milan Lucic was exactly what the Pens needed...a big, nasty forward who intimidated yet could still score occasionally. Oilers will probably look to move Lucic's contract over the summer, but even though he's over the hill he'd still be a good presence in the 'burgh. At a reduced price, however. Maroon might be another one they should look at.

What few Oilers games I've seen,Lucic kinda looked outta place. I wonder if Maroon's nickname is whatta.;)

Not sure about Luchicken, he only tries to intimidates smaller players. Maroon might be a better fit for that sort of thing. Don't think Gino needs anybody riding shotgun for him though.

Yeah, Geno's feisty and can take care of himself, but do we really wanna see him in the box? Or his enforcer? I'm voting the latter.

Luchicken? LOL, I'd never heard that one!

Pretty fast-paced 1st period. As a native Floridian I'll risk incurring wrath by rooting for the'Bolts. Big difference from the Panthers game-people in the stands. Tampa Bay always sells out. The Cats, not so much. OK, not ever.

Yeah, in a way reminds me of the David Clarkson albatross of a contract from the Leafs. Of course, Chiarelli can always send Lucic to the Coyotes since they have tons of cap space. He could play on the same line as the other salary dumps Arizona took on, Pavel Datsyuk and Chris Pronger. :D

Yuck. Bruins were clearly outplayed and looked tired, which they probably are given their loaded schedule and level of competition. No excuse, though. IMO Chara hasn't shown well since his return and the defense looked better and quicker without him in the lineup. I think the Bruins would be better served to rest players for the playoff run. They have 2 games vs. the Panthers, who are far-and-away the most physical team in the NHL, and will likely attempt to further beat up on the Bruins whether they win or lose their games.

Rask also showed himself to be that goalie Bruins fans are absolutely terrified to see...first two goals were weak, on long shots that you'd think he'd be able to handle. From there it was all down hill. Also, Brandon Carlo out for the season with a fractured ankle...second year in a row where he's missed the playoffs doe to a freak injury at the end of the season (last year he was concussed). This doesn't help.

The medical report on Brandon Carlo is fractured left ankle, surgery this week, out for 4 months, no SCP. A big loss as he only missed one game all year and that was a coach's decision to have him watch a game from the press level to get his head straight after a few subpar games. Fortunately, the B's have Chara and McAvoy back and are deeper at D than they were last year, so they should be OK.

I'm sure y'all are glad to have the big guy back but he looked a little sluggish against the 'Ning.
