Yikes!
20 minutes, 10 Buffalo shots, three Buffalo goals. Today is not Jarry's day.
-Mike

And now Bjorkstrand is out. Same ankle injury as Seth Jones, so they've lost their top scorer and top defenseman for the season.Jackets seem to be fading rounding the final turn. They were playing way beyond themselves through the first 2/3 of the season but the injuries and inexperience are catching up. The goal tending was a surprise after letting Bobrovski walk, but they are playing to expectations now.
Is he the main guy or are they platooning?Yikes!

We'll take the W but most likely no playoffs. Again.
Good thing I decided not to watch last night's Bruins- Canucks game with the 10 pm start. Final was 9-3 - Vancouver's kicker was 3 for 3 with a 35 yarder, 48 yarder and a 54 yarder. I heard the Patriots are interested in trading for him but no confirmation from Coach Hoodie yet.
B's were 3-1 on this NYC/Western Canada road trip which I'll take any day, but I wasn't expecting a blowout loss to end a 5 day winning streak.
Especially the no biting part...And? To the CANUCKS...
Look at the bright side. No sanctimonious Luongo, no self-righteous Sedins, no biting from Marchy. Could be worse.

The Maple Leafs were defeated by a 42-year-old zamboni driver
This is ALWAYS a great story, no matter how seldom it happens.
Go go Dave Ayers!

Two 37 win teams going at it today, Caps and Ice birds. Hoping for an Ovi hatter

Ya gotta hope someone's told him "rent, don't buy".Well, you got one here! I've hated that guy for years.
Oh..you said 'hatter', not 'hater'...nevermind.
Pens had their chances, and both Crosby's and Malkin's goals were sweet to watch, but they have got to get more secondary scoring if they're gonna make any noise in April.
Kovalchuk gets traded to the Caps. Here's hoping he reverts back to his pre-Montreal form.
Pageau to the Isles. Barry Trotz & the Islanders were already my dark horse pick to make waves in the post season...this move strengthens them even more.
Mike Green to Edmonton. Too bad he's 10 years past his prime...the old Mike Green would have been perfect to feed breakout passes to McDavid & Draisaitl.
Read where the Pens are interested in Patrick Marleau. I've always liked the guy, but he is not what the Penguins need. They already have a roster full of offensive players that won't play with any physicality. Honestly, they need a Zack Kassian-type player, IMO. Somebody to keep the opponents honest. EDIT: this just became a done deal. Marleau for a 3rd rd pick.
