Wow, I thought the Boston media can be pretty rough. And you are right about Florida, they played the B's hard last year during the playoffs.

Edit: I Googled and that's him, just one of the many stunts he pulled. Oddly enough, he's had bit parts in movies (most recently Oppenheimer) worked in the fashion industry, and is a gay rights activist.

I was gonna look at 3-0, 3-1 series losses. The Bs have given up a ton of series that way

If nothing else, they've played 100 seasons, and won the Cup what, 8 times?
That's an 8% success rate
It's easy to get riled up when your team doesn't meet your expectations. If the won everything all the time, it would be boring

You'd expect the Leafs to leave everything on the ice from here on out, and if they can beat Boston to force a game 6 in Toronto, it's anyone's series. I agree, in recent memory, the Bruins are famous for 7 game series.

As much as I dislike Marchand, Tom Wilson is worse. Those two give the NHL a bad rep.

Watching the Caps vs Rangers now. Wilson just took a dumb penalty after the Rangers just scored. True to form, I guess.

Ditto here with my Pens. But after watching the lifeless Capitals eke out the 'squeak into the playoffs' sweepstakes between the Caps/Pens/Wings/Flyers, I really think the other three would have put up a much better fight against the Rangers than did the Caps. They rode a hot goaltender (Lindgren) into the post season, but he alone couldn't take them any further. Some of their forwards really looked old and slow.

It's like neither team is even vaguely interested in lighting a fire and playing like Playoff Hockey Teams.

And I don't gripe about officiating, but every player on the ice (both teams) is visibly upset at the refs. And one of the linesmen took down a player. Just... bizarre.
