Give it some time, and play with the settings. YouTube has some good demos. There is a deceptively large amount of tone shaping you can get out of it.

The only precaution that I have seen suggested, and which I have done myself, is to use a heavy zip tie to really attach the Noble to the board rather than just velcro (even industrial strength velcro). I live in a climate where summer temps can push 105 at times and I have had high end velcro start to melt before.

here's mine on a Pedaltrain Metro 20 ... FWIW, this could easily fit on a smaller board too.

I think you could safely use the Noble as a hammer a step-stool or a formidable weapon but I take really good care of my stuff and a scratch would bother me. :-)

Mine has been on my pedalboard, and has seen a lot of gigs, since I got it in early Dec 2015 (#134). I also take very good care of my gear, and it looks brand new.

Probably won't be of much interest to most folks in this thread because they are different animals, but I just finished a video review of the Noble for double bass amplification which can be seen here in the DB forum Noble thread. Written review for Bass Gear magazine is submitted and should be published shortly.

I also love the Noble with my P bass with flats, but since I'm 99.9% a DB player, the reviews focus only on that aspect. Plus, my BG playing is not up to the standards of many of the folks up here!

I just got this Noble in in time for a practice with the band and 2 services tomorrow. So far I can’t quit playing it as it sounds phenomenal through the IEM and FOH. Side by side with the Starlifter there is a pretty noticeable difference in smoothness and roundness of the tones. Excited to see what this thing does once the band gets here.

Yep, I like them a lot. I have 3: ST-200 by my practice rig, ST-300 in my gig bag and the ST-300 mini on the pedalboard. It is fast and easy to read - two things that are important when you only have a moment between songs.
