Noble Amps Preamp

yes! .. this!
consider that many players barely use the EQ on the Noble at all (Tim Lefebvre aside :)) and still get great tone out of it.
+1. On top of that, the playing feel that you get out of the Noble is something that I miss every time I use another preamp/DI.

Hey Noble family! I recently did a live stream concert with my band: Ian Trusheim’s “Frequency Exchange.”
The bass sound is all direct, NOBLE GOODNESS, very minimal boost of bass and treble.

All original music, written by yours truly! Tune in and check it out :)

Just listened to this over on the LaBella 760FL's page... tastey indeed!!

Hey Folks - I've had my Noble for a few months now and don't have anything superlative-wise to add (TL;DR: its great).

However, I have recently been using this as a DI for guitar with equally pleasing results. I've recorded a short clip using my Les Paul on all three pickup settings (neck, both, bridge). Chain is guitar-->Noble-->Focusrite 2i4-->Logic Pro X. No plugins of any sort - just record and bounce.

Noble bass & treble at ~10:00 w/ HPF off. Tone on pickups fully on.

I can relate to this... when I still had my Noble, unfortunately had to sell it, I used it very successfully at church with electric and acoustic bass, electric guitar.. tele and Gibson style.. plus several acoustic guitars... it was nothing but amazing every single time

I use mine for all instruments in the studio as well. It does a great job at warming up my cheap condenser mic for vocals too!

Any of you noble users tried it with a stand alone power amp as opposed to a bass amp?
Gss sumo?
Swr amplite?
Demeter d800?

for reference I’m playing a p bass ( t I flats) through a berg hg410.

Yep, I’ve played with mine with a bunch. I don’t hear any noticeable difference between high end and low-cost power amps. I mainly played it with the Barefaced FR800(Hypex Poweramp) and Straight Ahead when I still had mine. Also for cabs, I used CN212 or AE210.
