Should have brought a Schecter Omen
Out of curiosity did he tell you what basses WOULD be acceptable? I'm guessing Smith, Fodera, Godin, Conklin, Lakland, Sadowski?
I could maybe, MAYBE see his point, regarding the Tbird. But the others?
I'm a Christian pastor and that is not a church I would want to associate with. I could see if you had something like satanic stickers on your bass or something offensive that should not be in a church like a picture of a middle finger flipping you off or a nude or scantily clad person on your bass but the shape of a bass has nothing to do with a person heart in wanting to worship the Lord! Hearing stuff like this really angers me as a pastor too because it's people like that, that give the entire body of the church a bad name and makes it harder for pastors like myself to minister to others.
Fixed it for ya. As a bass playin' follower of Christ, I'd prefer to not be labeled for the foolish actions of someone else. I suspect he acted on his own. Just sayin'...
