Got mine in on Monday, and tonight was the first chance I got to play through it. My sound in the mix has never been better! Each note has clarity that I was never able to get with previous pedal boards. What a great pedal!

NPD Southampton Ictineo

That is almost my exact base sound! Regular version of the diamond, and V2 of the FG, but there you go.
Add a HPF at the front end, sub the Diamond for a Broughton Monocle opto comp (an excellent substitution
), and add a Fairfield Modelé B, and you've got my pedalboard as well. 
I've been in Florida for most of the week and only had one night with the ictineo and Fifth Gear. And as much as I love being on vacation I miss a my gear...lol. The ictineo does that thing that tube amps do to your tone. The oomph, the mojo with dirt pedals, all of that. I can see why the other versions of this pedal were so popular. It's safe to say I'm bolting this one down to my board...
Oh, and the fifth Gear is the drive I've been looking for. Compression, more oomph and a general pusher of other pedals. Southampton is really killing it!!

Ok...I've just scratched the surface and this is one amazing preamp. Gonna have to do a write-up once I've got it sussed out a little better. But this thing does some wonderful things for a PBass. More to come. 
So far the Ictineo has made improvements to everything we plugged into it. Mine is in lock down until I finish tracking my bass parts.

What settings were you using with your Precisions? So far I've only tried it with my Jazz.
Primarily mucking around with the suggested starting settings from the Zeibeck manual right now. SUB on all the switches with body between 11-1 o'clock and tone between 9 and noon seem promising. Haven't found much use for the ultra bass switch setting yet. It's a little overwhelming with my SWR rig so far. What I really want to try it with is my T-40 and T-20. But I started with the PB because I've never been that crazy about it's basic sound despite having a good deal of respect for it. (Which is why I own a PB.) So I'm hoping to find a setting or two that will refine it a little more and align it better with my tastes.
What are you using for the JB?

With the Jazz I'm running close to the "SVT" settings posted earlier in this thread. Boost and/or UltraBass to taste.
Oh, and I ran the Ictineo into the front end of my Meatsmoke at my gig this weekend. With the Boost on, Body 2:00, Tone 10:00, and 250 Dip, it really gave the MS just the push it needed for the gig. Sound guy didn't want things too loud on stage, so the Ictineo helped get the pushed sound I wanted at the volumes we needed.
I pulled the Ictineo off my board....

I need to grab those super rubber washers to slip under the caps so the pots dont move on me, but I've got a tasty little back-of-the-rig thing going on. Ictineo takes my snake feed from my pedalboard, runs into the HPF, then into my Meatsmoke Pre and RB700II

Can anyone else confirm that the interaction of tone knob set all the way up (clockwise) and body knob set all the way down (counterclockwise) essentially kills all signal and mutes the output? Seems a bit of an odd outcome. If that's indeed by design, I guess what's happening is the farther counterclockwise the body knob is set, the more extreme the scoop gets, and eventually the scoop swallows up the high frequencies leftover from the clockwise tone knob setting?
I do like the moderate settings of this thing. 250hz dip is nice, and Fifth Gear into Ictineo into Noble is quite fun!

I can confirm! It's actually one of the tests I do to confirm the values are all right. You're just filtering out all the signal.
Like the 'boost' switch, the original was designed with extremes.
