It looks like I will end up with a Black ATK300 after all but it won't be here until next week but I am partial to 7's and if I am reading the sequencing right, this request would put me @ 147, right? I promise I will post a pic the day it arrives!

My family has a cabin at a small lake near Mercer, WI called Spider lake. Ever hear of it? Have a safe trip.

Man, I DIG the red sparkle! Being left handed, the only way I can have a sparkle finish, is to have an ATK custom painted. I do have a Black Sparkle 305, although it's a righty. I may make a left hand body for it someday, as finding left handed 305's is about as easy as finding the Fountain of Youth! Already have a number in the club, but here is a couple of shots of my ATK's ....

I bought this with the idea that I may make a lefty body and swap everything to it. Don't know if I want to play it upside down, but I'm a 5-string player, so I'm going to have to at least try it at some point!

Hey guys, I made it back from some much needed r n' r. I sit down ready to scan the thread for new number requests and what do I find? El Presidente already has it handled!

Oh, and I'm really digging all the gear pics. I may have to step up and submit my own.

I wound a double coil MM style humbucker and put it in an MM style housing... it fit perfectly into my ATK700's cavity and so will many 2 coil type replacement MM pickups.

The BassCulture pickups also fit without routing.

I emailed Hipshot about this exact thing and Bill told me that none of them are a straight swap out/swap in. It takes a little work and drilling some new holes. I decided it wasn't worth it in the end.
