If you like the GK MB200 tone (no reason not to), then perhaps the MB500 is a good choice. If the TH350 sounds too dark for you then logic says so will the 500.
I also think either the GB or the MarkBass would be good choices. My personal exprience with MB is they are definitely bright sounding.
I personally like my Mesa D800 with the 2 One10 stack, but even that setup is darker (the word you used) than say a super 112 with a horn. If I want more top end, I just turn the high shelving control up, or bump the voicing knob a bit.
I am still new to Bearfaced, but the reason I bought them was I wanted a more vintage, richer bass sound without all that klank. I do very little slapping, I am just looking for thick tone that stays clear on the low B's & C''s.

well broken in or not the sound is fantastic! warm and hifi. thats what i like. with a passive bass it sounds like a fender should, in active it sounds redonkulous! can't say enough of how happy i am, and i don't even play out!!!!! thats the kick in the ass. its just for my home use recording and just playing.
Okay. second rehearsal with the band, and I am sold. Really great vintage sound from the Mesa / (2) Barefaced One10 setup. Also, I played last night at an acoustic type low volume setting with just (1) One 10. Great low volume tone as well.
Ran the Mesa EQ flat with voicing at 1 o'clock, master at 2 o'clock tonight and I was loving it. My EBMM Sterling loves this setup also.

I think cromag got the Big Twin II which is of course essentially BB2 + another 12" driver. I have a BB2 so I bet the Big Twin must be awesome as well-- and more of it.
Also, @anton72, I have been using a GK Fusion (MBF 800) with my Four10 and a GK MB200 with my One10, and like those combos a lot-- you can get some extra brightness, or not depending on what you choose to dial in, with the MB series; I like the fusion because it warms up the MB sound just a little bit. Especially with the One10 my EQ settings tend to be more pronounced than w/ some other combos, but as many have said, don't be afraid to turn those knobs, a lot even, the cab will easily handle it, and you'll get the tone you want. I also have a TH350 so I understand about it being a bit darker. I think the TH350 (and 500 I assume) sounds pretty darn good with a BB2, though.

My BB2 rig proudly makes its debut here. Would love your input regarding need to add 2nd BF cab. One sounded amazing on 1st & only gig. I figure the experience wasn't a representative sampling - wide open outdoor setting and not broken in. I'm finding it hard to believe the single BB2 will suffice in a bar-playing, 2-guitar & keys, classic rock band. Have an itchy trigger finger for another 12" BF (BB2, SM, SC) or even a BT2. Should I pull the trigger or wait?
I am contemplating a SM to use with my BB2 for larger gigs and for use by itself when maximum portability is needed. For most gigs one BB2 suffices. I'd suggest you try using the single BB2 indoors before doing anything...
I dont really feel like I NEED a 2nd cab to go with the BB2... I just WANT one, and the versatility of using the SM stand-alone or with BB2 is my excuse.
There is a poster selling 2 SMs right now on classifieds... I want a pole mount "tophat" in mine or I would be contacting that seller now.

I'm telling myself and anybody that will listen that a BT2 is the best 2nd cab to my BB2. Being able to tilt & wheel it seems a less awkward schlep than carrying two BB2's, and the BT2/BB2 combo may make use of my Mesa Walkabout powerful enough (2.x ohms) on loud gigs. Of course BB2 a light haul on smaller gigs. Masterful rationalization for "more" if I do say so myself
