This. I stopped looking at cabs in class fields, though I still look at basses and amps. This means that I already own the best of the cabs.

I have to agree that these Barefaced cabs sound terrific. I just wish they would come up with a wedge shaped design so we can fire the sound more at our ears!

took my new super compact one 12" to a gig. This is a raucus garage surf punk band with two guitars and an exuberant drummer. this was a small to medium sized club with decent sound. i used my '77 precision and a tonehammer 350. In short, the thing freaking rocks. huge sound. way more than enough low end and plenty of crunch with the tonehammer precision combo. Of course super easy load in and out. i had all the dials on the amp at 12 o'clock which is where i feel the amp is at its happiest. yea. no complaints whatsoever. im not a big fan of the rhino-liner coating (its a bit rough to the touch) , but its tough and (forgetting about the cost) this is a cab im not going to worry about banging around a bit. i originally bought a one10 which is super cool but just not quite enough for many things ( and just barely, which is saying something for a one 10". truly extraordinary ) so i picked up this one 12". Ive always been leery of 12" speakers but so far this little guy did not disappoint. and its pretty much brand new as in not remotely broken in yet. ive only fooled around with it in my living room. i love vintage fliptops for their tone and if i can get by with one at a gig im a happy dude, but they have a definite ceiling and when i need more im not going to be sorry about bringing this combo. not to mention it weighs half as much as a b15.

It's been nearly two weeks now and I'm in love. This is a lovely, sweet, unctuous, articulate, smile-inducing cab. For what it's worth, the match up with the Demmie amp is superb and I know people talk about breaking in these cabs, but this sounded great from day one. I love that it oozes a quality tone at low volumes (I live in a classic Edinburgh tenement, lots of neighbours on all sides) as well as when cranked up. It has also made me fall in love with my G&L JB again (in recent years I've favoured my LB100), it seems to allow me to hear the true character of a J-bass. I need to wait until various band members get back from holiday to hear it in the mix, but I doubt I'll be disappointed. :)

I finally took a gig rig pic! I could not be happier with this cab. Well, I'll be happier when I get a smaller barefaced for jazz gigs....

Nice rig! If you didn't list Seattle in your profile I'd swear by the background that you were the bass player for the infamous Long Island Yacht Club Real-Deal Blues Band:roflmao:
