I'm seriously considering a 610, I already have a Super Compact and a Super Twin but am tempted by a larger cab. Does anyone want to talk me out of this?

Having said that, what's making you think you want a Six10? More volume (I've never heard one, but maybe a Six10 could provide more volume than your Super Twin?)? Different tone (you'd definitely get that from the the CR10 drivers)? Simply can't help wanting more Barefaced cabinets (most everyone in the club would understand that)?

There are times I wish I got the Six10 over the Four10, but then I remember I get yelled at by everyone before I can even make the Four10 sweat... I can't even imagine how loud the Six10 and Eight10 are!!
I too am interested in the 610. To me the primary advantages over the 410 are the wheels and the drivers being closer to my ears so I can hear myself better. Also I imagine it would be fairly easy to drive it to ample volume with a low wattage tube head like the new Ampeg PF50.
I'm really curious how the pf50-t would be with 2x210 cabs running at 6ohms (total). I play typically in venues <250 people. Even at 6ohms, the cabs would be getting the full 50 watts, correct?
1x210 seems to be working great right now, but the dream is to get vertical stack. It's funny to type this though, cause the single cab seems plenty at the moment. The 2nd cab would be nice when we play larger venues.

I definitely don't need an 810, too expensive, too heavy and too loud. Plus it won't fit in the trunk of my car

There are a few reasons, none of them are particularly good so here goes:
I'd like a taller cab as I'm often pretty close to my amp. But the 610 isn't a lot taller than the ST anyway and I could just put the SC on top of the ST. I would much prefer 1 cab though.
I'm playing a 5 string (tuned flat so Ab is the lowest string) and I'd like a bit more bottom end than I currently have. Also thinking about adding more distortion and maybe some octave (down) to my sounds so I might be pushing the SC a bit (I'm overly cautious with it anyway).
Maybe a little more headroom would also be good, I'm running a Mesa D800 into the ST and have not needed to get much past halfway on the volume so far though.
In the tone department, I play with a pick 90% of the time and run through an always-on low gain barbershop with the high cut engaged. So I guess what I like is a tubey overdriven sound with a fair amount of highs rolled off. Maybe the CR10s would suit me better there?
So true. I too have a Four 10 and I echo everything you say. It just seems to keep on giving. The one time I converted it to a Six 10 by adding two One 10s I couldn't go loud enough to notice any difference.
I find my Four 10 spreads so well that I don't miss it being taller, unlike other similar sized cabs I have played but I agree with you about the wheels although it is a relatively light schlep. Alex advised me against adding wheels to mine because of the cabinet construction, so I just use a small base on wheels with the same footprint if I can't be bothered carrying it. Works a treat.
I bought a Rock N Roller cart on sale at Musicians Friend that I use depending on the distance I need to move it.
I certainly can't argue with wanting your cabinet(s) up higher. FWIW, I bought two cheap folding step stools on Amazon, that were about $10 each: 11 inch high folding step stool on Amazon. You might be able to get away with one for your ST, but two are a nice and stable platform for my pair of Big Baby 2's. They were also A LOT cheaper than a Six10, although a lot less fun.
I've never heard a Six10, so I can't speak to how much more bottom end you could get compared to a Super Twin. But, from what I read, it's hard to imagine needing more than what the Super Twin could give you. But then again, if a lot is good then more is always better, right?
Regarding tone, there should be a noticeable difference in tone between your ST and any of the XXX10 cabinets given the difference in the drivers. Based on what you said, I think it sounds like the Barefaced 10CR drivers might be better suited to your sound goals. But, I make no claims to being an authority on anything tone-related, so it would be worth getting in touch with Alex at Barefaced and talking directly with him. He's got a great reputation here for guiding customers to the best cabinet for their needs.

I'll drop Alex an email, I've had pretty much every iteration of the compacts now (I even owned one of the very first rat fur covered prototypes way back when) so I'm on pretty familiar ground there.
My sound needs have changed a bit since I've had my Super twin so maybe the 10s would suit me better or maybe I'm being overly conservative with my current setup and it can do a lot more than I'm asking of it.
Well I went with the Ninja and WOW what a difference, in comparison the TC sounds like sweaty pair of old man trousers, this little guy, not so much! Extremely punchy, clear, tight and dynamic, and did I mention its green

I never thought about it until seeing your picture but, with the "vintage" cloth grills, a "vintage" coiled cord should be mandatory. And that's even more true with a sunburst/tort precision! That looks great!
EDIT/DISCLAIMER: For the record, I am NOT mocking Precisions, sunbursts, or tort. If anyone was to doubt that, my own Precision just happens to be a sunburst with tort - and it also has a set of flatwounds on it. (note my signature below!

The dispersion in these cab's is superb.. is there really need to place them higher?
With the BTII there is bass all over the place (hmmm, that'd make a nice lyric), can't think of any reason to place it on top of something. I ass u me that the ST+SC combo has great dispersion as well?
Hello Barefaced users, I have a question. Can a Four 10 carry a rock gig with a 150 watt Tube amp? I have a line on each, but don't want to pull the trigger if it can't keep up.
