Any of the Devon owners out there with a special Devon bass they would trade for a Very SPecial 2020 Roscoe SKB3005 Buckeye Burl hit me up and we can talk specifics. This Roscoe is special.

Had a Old band member that was in service with us in the Audience this past Sunday and heard me playing My Devon J5. He has heard me play my Roscoe's, Several Warriors and many other high end basses. He messaged me out of the blue today saying that Devon Bass sounded better than any bass I've ever had. Said every note was clear and cut through perfectly. Love these Nordstrand Pickups and preamp.
Anyone got a nice 5 string Devon they want to sale hit me up. Wanting to either get another nice Devon or a New Sadowsky.
I'm looking to track this bass down and possibly buy it back if anyone on here owns it and would part with it. Message me if you have this Devon bass.
I'm good friends with Devon and talk to him all the time but build times are 18 months right now with him being a 1 man crew. I don't want to wait that long.

NBD!! Got my Devon J4. It plays as good as it looks!! Probably the best instrument I’ve ever played. The burl top is spectacular. The neck is smooth and fast. I went with Bartolini pickups and Pre. Tight, crisp mids and BOOTY for days. I had a ramp installed and the clear pickguard can always be removed. What a beautifully crafted piece. If you’re on the fence about owning one of these Basses.........Jump!! I mixed my pics in with some of Devon’s!! Be well!!

Congrats! great looking bass, good call on the clear pick guard and ramp. Would you mind if I asked when you placed the order with Devon? I ordered mine back in January and am trying to gauge how long I should wait until I can get impatiently excited!

I had a hiccup on mine. It took 13 months. He’s 18 months now. He’s re-tooling his shop.
I d a chance to extensively compare my New Sadowsky NYC bass to My Devon Modern j5 they both are amazing build and playability. The difference in tone for me isn't even close as the Devon is just so clean, thick , and cutting in the mix. It's hard to beat a Devon no matter what you put up against it. I've had more compliments on the tone on this Devon than any bass I've played.
