Unfortunately, that is not the case. You receive two coupons for each Factor pedal that you own, but you do not get all of the algos just because you own the Factor pedal.

So after realizing I hate all Apple products (jk). I switched to an Android recently, it's the Harmon Kardon HTC One (seriously coolest phone ever), and of course there is no android app. What's the deal with that. Anyone know if they'll ever have an app for it? God that made it easier. It's almost pushed me to the point of buying a shaging iPod just to control my stupid pedal. Super annoying.
Ok, new question for you Eventiders, how good is the tuner in the H9? I wouldn't expect it to be as good as a dedicated tuner, but if it's a "pretty good" tuner, I might be willing to relocate my Turbo Tuner(which I LOVE)to my backup board because I could be able to replace my tuner AND my Octamizer. I never have had much luck with tuners that were thrown into multi-effects units, they almost always suck.

Just got rid of my tuner in favour of the one on the H9. It's incredible accurate. I didn't realize how much so until I started messing around with it. My one gripe is the way you get to it. It's not a huge deal though.

I know you're asking about the H9 and not the Pitchfactor, but I have a three button aux switch and I have one switch assigned to the tuner. I imagine something similar can be done with the H9? Possibly a MIDI signal as well?
Jwar: eventide have said maybe an android app in the future, but it's not currently being developed.
Pbass6811: the tuner is really really good. Accessible by holding both stomp switches down for a couple seconds. Can also be accessed by midi too though.

I wonder why. Maybe they have a contract with Apple. Sucks. It's the one regret I have four switching phones.

I doubt it's any sort of contract, there is just a big bias toward iOS over Android among music companies. They are still considered the premiere OS even as Android has gained a similar (or larger?) market share. I don't know why apparently it's so hard to just port the software from one system to the other.
Very true. I'm probably an interesting case since I "work" for Samsung(I'm employed by another company, but I am a Samsung Experience Consultant). I carry a Note 3 phone(best phone I ever had, and I carried every iPhone from the 3GS up to, and including, the 5S), I have a couple of Samsung tablets and a Nook, which runs a lame version of Android, and a houseful of Samsung stuff. What do I make my music on? A Mac and an iPad. Because you seem to see most of the major recording studios and visual media companies using Apple stuff, software developers that want to specialize in those markets will develop and optimize their stuff for iOS(An example? Apogee. Great, high quality stuff-only works with Apple). They won't worry about Android, and some won't even worry about Windows. Less time & money spent developing a version that may or may not sell still equals more profit...
Back on topic.
I really wish you guys hadn't told me that the tuner in the H9 is good. I need to STOP BUYING EFFECTS!! At least for a few weeks...
Ya that was something that confused me in the literature of my Pitchfactor when I owned one. I just always used the wall wart to be safe either way.
My Pitchfactor runs at 12v for a few weeks now, works flawlessly. I'm using Cioks dc10.
The dedicated eventide power outputs on the eventide (cioks) powerfactor 2 are 12 volt. So an official eventude power supply recommends use at 12 volts (I power my powerfactor and h9 this way). I think there is a thread about this on the eventide forums. I know for AC, higher voltage allows lower current for the same amount of power (think high voltage power transmission lines); I assume the same applies to dc power at this much smaller scale.
Trying my best to join in with you h9 users. Just missed one in the classifieds last week that sold for 300. If I have to buy new, may end up being after the new year before I get my hands on one. Right now I'm goofing around with the control app and watching youtube videos of it. I'll be back for my number sometime soon
Volerium, We'll be waiting for you. You really won't be disappointed by an H9, core or standard. It is a desert island pedal.
