The vice knob is where the real voicing comes from, lots of options available with these pedals.
I use mine a bit dirty after my Duality. Sounds amazing.
I think it might work well at the end, since the DI on my amp is pre-eq and pre-volume, I could use it as an amp sim before it goes direct out. What are your thoughts?

I put mine to do exactly that duty. Tested it both, before my other dirt pedals and after, and it definitely worked best as the last dirt pedal.

Yeah, the american does not sound good with no drive, I have it at around 7:30 or 8:00. Sounds so much better and I usually don't notice any distortion at all.
Plugged it in and there is not enough power to even light the leds fully tried 2 different power supplies and it just totally quit working. Fail.
Took it apart and had to do some soldering. Works now. I did remove it from my main board go back to a one spot. Not trusting it just yet.
Here's my Sanded UD. I ended up just supergluing a part of the switch in what I thought was high gain (though now I'm thinking it might have been the low gain, oh well) setting and then superglued a knob I never use off my mixer over it so it doesnt get knocked out of place.

And I keep the American before my modulations because. So its the last dirt pedal, and kind of like my dirty part of the pre amp, and then I have my modulation thingies, they work a lot better after the American than before it, and the last pedal I have in the board is my clean pre, Fishman Pro eq.
