A Step Towards' words are 100% true. Can we please stop debating it?
Is anybody a member on the Rickenbacker forums? I would love to hear an official explanation of this whole deal... like I said, I'm holding judgement until its all said and done, because if I get a money sweet Ric for $1150 I'm happy. But would be very curious to know the circumstance of these basses and how they made it out of the Ric factory and into the MF warehouse, as the noted flaws seem to be related to both Ric and MF alike.
Please. Its rather obvious that there all new , sealed basses, anyone arguing against that is going up a hill because there wrong. Also as quickie said all used basses are marked in the used section but stated as scratch and dent models , they then take close photos of the damage , or they sell the instrument to a online store that then sells them on ebay , under the name soundcheapmusic or something close to that.
Aceonbass- is a member on the rick forum , he uses the same name and font there , i have followed it.
I'm the same , I am not bashing rick. I am going to wait tell I get my next bass before I make a judgement and even if the next one is a lemon I still will look at ricks in the future, will i pay 2000$? nope, will i buy online? nope.
Ricks are sweet its just finding the right one , so far I found one that shouldnt have left the factory.
This is the most money I have spent on a bass , doesnt matter if i spent 1169, 1300 , or 2000$ , i expect a bass free from flaws my 144$ new squier doesnt have.

but i wont as it will be sold as scratch and dent as its now a return.
