Also, I completely disagree that you would never need a TB 1000. If you are running more than one cab or an 8x10 then you would need that over the 500. The extra wattage really helps with headroom and not driving the head too hard.

I've played an OBC810 and they are really good fridges, warm and balanced. They tend to colour your sound but in a good way. And they are loud as heck with a Terror! (Also with a AD, but we all know TB are louder)

IMO:
A rack terror is not worth it, they are portable enough and rack mounted TB would be not economically viable for orange.
More than 200 watt heads are overkill, even the TB1000 is overkill by itself.
A Troy Sanders signature could only be viable if they don't do a valve head, since they have no reason for it to be. Again IMO.

I think a rackmountable terror would be good simply because people like rackmountable units for touring and because the TB heads are so light that they tend to walk when placed on top of cabinets. I know I was always terrified of mine walking off of the cabinets until good ol JMac made me a custom head shell. I really think that just making a rack mountable option would appeal to a wider demographic of players. The AD200b is actually I think only like 120 or 150 watts, so my point was to make a valve head that could possibly power 2 8x10's at 2 ohms that was closer in wattage to an SVT VR could sell well IF they made it only a few hundred more than the AD200b. Basically like an AD400b. And again, I know it goes against Orange's simplistic nature, but a head with a graphic eq or a few more features than the TB or AD have could pull in more players to the brand.

I really want to try the OBC 8x10. I have played and am about to own 2 OBC 4x10's but I know the 8x10 actually uses different (neo) speakers than the 4x10's so I was curious of the difference.

Terror walking only happens with not sturdy enough cabs, I know that first hand.

Yes, they deliver anything between 120 and 170 watts and not 200.
But I honestly think anything more than that is way too much. If you haul 2 810, you should better bi-amp, but I get your point.

Graphic EQs are not in line with the simplicity of an Orange, which is what I love, although I know it could put off some Bass players. I personally love it's plug and play nature and that you could hardly pull out a wrong sound out of them.

The differences in drivers are mostly in weight and minimal in sound in my experience. 2 410 are practical if you don't always play stadiums.

Great concert on Monday night with California Breed (Alter Bridge was headliner). CB stole the show. And it's amazing how great an Orange bass stack and Orange guitar stack can sound with this calibre of musicians. Pictured is the great Glenn Hughes in front of his stack-o-Orange. See them if they come to your town! One 8x10 surrounded by four 1x15 and powered with two AD200b.
