thats an old 90s seris10 bass. I had a few Charvel crackles and still have a pair of rainbows
mam oh man, if I ever came across a rainbow Id have to buy it. I just never see them. I check eBay daily and I have seen guitars in that finish but not basses.
the basses were a little more rare to see in rainbow yes. 1988 only like the guitars. I had a lavacrackle for a while and traded it on one of the rainbows.
the left one is a model4 and I didnt have a spare pointy neck so I tossed a CX (CSM2B) neck on it just to make it playable.

I got my red 575 deluxe in the mail today. It was described as "excellent condition". It was quite a nightmare, I started a thread on it because I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it or not, you can see some very interesting pictures on that thread. Anyways Ive decided to send it back. Its unsalvageable. I just wanted to warn anyone on here of the seller in case they post it again, their name is corn_stac.
Well I figured Id better post my RWB combo before I send the red one back to the seller. Its a little different then my other two anyways. It has a larger headstock like the model series basses, and it has Jackson Pickups instead of Charvel pickups. It also has the FT Worth neck plate, not a blank one. Not sure if that means its older, newer, not a 575 deluxe??
ya i saw it, just didnt post in there until this morning. the plate is correct and the rest of it is trashed.
Picked this up for $125 + shipping. I was adjusting the pick-up height and found it has springs underneath instead of the foam on my other Jackson/Charvel basses
I'm still rocking my Lava Crackle 3B. It's not my main bass at the moment, but it's my main 4 string when I go to my 4s on occasion. I've got a Dingwall NG-2 on the way. I was thinking about putting a Darkglass Tone Capsule in the Charvel at one point to make it a mid grindy killing machine.

Played my first gig with the new band last night, using my 4B with EMG's. Ampeg SVT 3 Pro into two Hartke 410's. It was gloriously thunderous. Don't have photos yet, but I know several were taken. One of those photographers spent a heck of a lot of time on my side of the stage. 
i always liked that green color. Someday I will find a red F5 to go with my red E5

What aftermarket case will fit a Charvel 4B? I tried an SKB but it came up about a half inch too short. Others are sized on Fenders and are too big. Any suggestions?
I always wondered why as pretty as lacewood is that they didn't use it on other models, even as an option.....
I agree, it has to be one of the most stunning wood grain out there. I would love to see a concert model in the option.
