No asymmetrical neck on them Wayne, but I actually like it a little better than the neck on my Growler, which is... the profile is carved very much like my old Alembic.

Not quite. Besides the omega cut ( as far as I know this is the last one) it has prototype radiused Bartolini pickups with no logos. I call it a hybrid.

I'm one of the first owners of a Tobias (#179). It was fun seeing where Mike went with it.

Awww...I was just jiving you about the plastic truss cavity cover. LOL. That's an awesome instrument. I would be inclined to gig that one a lot. If you have a problem, Brad, it's too many amazing basses. Decisions, decisions... I would be a little late getting out of the house to some gigs just trying to decide what to take.:bassist:

I know you were joking, just wanted to point out a couple of interesting things about that bass. It also came with a Fender style bridge, Mike offered to swap it out when he went to a different standard one, I figured if it ain't broke... And it was the first bass I've owned that really drove home the point that it's not the specs, it's the bass. This one is 34" scale and still has one of the most amazing B strings I've ever heard or played. Built at a time when conventional wisdom was that you needed 35", period.
