If it's acrylic, best get yourself a padded strap. Mine weighed 14lbs.

I have a TUNE 4 string bass for sale, but their asking me where it was manufactured in Korea or Japan.
Number on the head stock is S060511876. It orginally retailed for $1450 Can anyone tell me it was made? It plays wonderfully, but I have a Parker Maxxfly bass now only 6 lbs.

When there is an S in the serial number is a South Korean bass. Post a picture of it please.

An “S” at the beginning of the serial means it was made in South Korea.
All numbers or nothing at all means Japan.

Think they're twin coils wired in series. If you pop the control cover off and see 2 wires taped together that's them wired in series.

Hi guys!

I need to replace all the potentiometers in my Korean Tune Bass Maniac Standard (It looks like this is TBJ41-SW). There are questions regarding the nominal values for potentiometers in order to select good direct analogs instead of the original ones. I would be very grateful for the tip. I would like to replace it with long-term high-quality potentiometers that will last for years.

The second question concerns the modification of the original TB-05B preamp according to the Схема преампа от баса "Tune Bass Maniac" (плюс мод схемы) scheme that I found on the Internet. What are your thoughts on this?
