Official TUNE Club

Lol! I emailed [email protected] (the Korean site?) on Oct 1, 2021. Never got a reply. I had just purchased my Tune and was trying to figure out what model it was. I'd totally forgotten I'd emailed them. I've since talked to the previous owner and found out it's background.

I just got a reply from Tune in Japan. They said my bass was from Korea and couldn’t help me. I’m needing the headstock Tune logo or waterside.

Ah... It's a 2014 prototype built for NAMM. It has the soapbar pickup AND the piezos. Also 18v preamp. It's very nice. I managed to find the owner before the guy I got it from, and picked it up at some US guitar store in Hollywood. He'd meant to go to NAMM to see it and try to buy it but couldn't make it. Some time after NAMM, he was in Hollywood and found it in a guitar shop and bought it. Then he brought it up to Canada and at some point, sold it to a friend of mine, who I bought it from last fall. :)

Hi Guys,

I just bought this great sounding and playing Tune Bass Maniac, which is as I understand made in Korea (25 Frets and straight end of the fretboard).
But I haven't come across one with chrome hardware (is it gotoh?) and also a pre amp without the dipswitches. Also the color looks like some sort of Lime
Can anybody give me a rough estimation when this was build? Is this an early Korean one?
I'm asking this because there isn't any serial number on this bass.
Thanks!

@StefanMarinov

What kind of details do you require ?
Just a general info on it mate. Is the neck as good as everyone says, how does the combination of the piezo and standard pickups work, would you say it resembles any other bass sound, some of them are similar to Cirrus/Smith. Anything that comes to mind really. There’s absolutely zero info on them on Google and no YouTube clips. Thanks :)
