Aye , $600 was a good deal.
It's a TWB-6 . Might be Korean / might be Japanese , serial number with only numbers (Japanese)/starts with a letter (Korean).
The Delanos are probably aftermarket. Thing which puzzles me most is the purpose of those 2 chrome screws.
That appears to be just a ramp and could've been added later. Those specific knobs on that specific bass is what makes me think that it might have come from @gebass6 maybe?

You have bought it from the E-Z Pawn In Gurnee.
I sold it when I bought an N/S Stick and defretted my second TWB63.
I had two TWB's
The top is walnut.The back is mahogany.
The black piece of wood in the center is a ramp that I made.
It limits finger plucking depth.
It aids in practicing the "four fingered"technique.

You can remove it if you want.
It's put on with double stick tape.
The fingerboard is maccasar ebony.
The screws used to hold down a TC Unitune with a wooden thumbrest.
I also replaced the plastic electronics cover with a wooden ones.
I loathe broad expanses of plastic on a bass.
The strings are S.I.T. Conklin Power Steel stainless strings.
Edit:I use a seven string bass set because the C string in this S.I.T. set is thinner that the C string in other six string sets.

Considering that they run about $1350.00 new,I asked for $800.
They offered me $500 to buy it.
That's about what it cost me when I bought it used.

I can tell you that to my eyes everything is lovely about it except that finger ramp in the middle.

Looks like someone replaced the pickups and different knobs. Without seeing inside the control plate, I can’t tell if the preamp was changed also.
I was just in the South Portland Maine guitar center and saw this beauty on the wall. Oddly enough, the website has pictures of a ukulele attached to the listing instead of the actual bass. It was up high and they were pretty busy in there so I didn’t get a chance to play it, but it looks very well maintained.

Hello everyone,
I just acquired a Tune Bass ! It sounds incredible but I have troubles to understand which model it is. From the look of it, It should be a TWX51 but the bass was obviously repainted and the potentiometers are made of wood. Also the bridge is very different from the usual I've seen on photos and the sillet is made of Bone.
I think it's Korean the serial number being S050511694.
Does someone has some informations with the ones I wrote here ?
