Love it. Can you comment on the Suppa vs og PPB? I've had both and swear I could get them to sound nearly identical but I remember reading people thought the Suppa was noticeably different. I prefer the Suppa for being able to back off the phatness knob but just curious.

Yeah l definitely will! Just got the Suppa today and haven't had a chance to compare yet..

There is this something that I can't quite match with the Suppa to the PPB. It's real close and I doubt it can be noticed without really knowing what's going on. Like my wife was commenting that she couldn't tell any difference and gave that look> :cautious:

Like you, I like the options on the Suppa and sometimes when stacking Id like to back off a bit on the PHATNESS... and having that option is a treat, as well as the external bias and volume control.

I like both!

I'm really curious about this one. When you have the chance please report back and tell us what you think of it.

Absolutely!

I've really been anxious to get the 25drive on my board. I have high hopes for this one.. drives at higher voltages work for me.

Who knows, it might even become a TB hyped favorite flavor of the month. :)

so you're saying the PPB gets a tone that the Suppa just can't cop?

I got my shipping notice for the TWO FIVE!! It should be here soon since the W&C office isn't very far from me.

I have just replaced the PPB with the Suppa on my board and I'll see/hear if the PPB has something the Suppa doesn't. I can only tell a minimal difference at bedroom volumes playing along to a drum machine.. maybe it's more in the feel than in the tone. After a few more weeks with the Suppa on my board I'll have a better idea of the differences/similarities.

Does look cool, tho personally I'd prefer an OG TFR and a White Elk because more.

After getting an early Hella Fuzz I want all early W&C pedals! That pedal is my favorite fuzz and I've had many many fuzz pedals. AMAZING!

Though I wouldn't mind picking up some newer ones as well. like this guy> [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Ugh I wants it!!

The Two Five drive arrived and it's exactly what I wanted. Amazing how it takes my passive bass signal and slams my Mesa Buster tube amp with what Ive always looked for from a "tube amp slamming pedal." Some pedals got close but the Two Five is exactly what I wanted. The clipping and 3 band EQ are great tone shapers. I really love the Mosfet/Germanium hybrid clipping for grind and the LED clipping with the gain down is a great boost.

Two Five is LOUD and PROUD and works great for me.

I have a gig this Saturday and this is what I'm bringing.. can't wait to debut the Two Five live! Oh and I am finding I like the versatility of the Suppa more and more, might even shelf the Phuk B. The Hella Fuzz is probably the best deal I have ever got from all of my pedal wheeling and dealings over the years. AMAZING fuzz!

Every time I get a notification in my alerts that someone has posted to this thread I subconsciously hold my breath and wait for the page to load hoping someone has some news about the Gold Comp Bass.

Alas... not to be, yet again.

Did W&C display at NAMM? Does anyone know if anything was said about the Comp?

(This thing is at the top of my 2018 wishlist, if you can't tell.)

Have you tried the Gold Comp?

Nah W&C didn't have a booth at NAMM this year. Not sure what the hold up is on the Bass version of the comp but last year I was told it was on the backburner. Maybe it was so he can work exclusively on the just released Two Five drive.

I have tried the Gold Comp, but have held off purchasing it in hopes of the bass version. I do like the idea of the dry blend (and typically like comps with a blend).

Hopefully the bass comp is still on the radar.

Im really impressed with the Two Five Drive. So much fun to stack with, really hits the signal with so much.. strength .. (I think that's the description I'm looking for) I'm in love with the gain character of the MOSFET/Germanium hybrid clipping as well as the mids EQ.

Here's a gut shot.
