I had to raise my action to standard height, Zons come with super low action, and don't even buzz when its that low, which is crazy! I need it higher though because I am used to higher action and play really hard.

I got the fretless back a while ago. The fretted is still at the shop; they initially wanted to send it back to me as they didn't have a piece that matched the sort of unique top it has, but I asked them to just hold onto it until they found a match. It's taken a bit longer than I thought it would :D Close to three months for that one, so hopefully it'll be done soon.

On the plus side, it's meant that I've had to use my fretless for everything, so my fretless chops are just about back to par now, as I hadn't used it much this past year. Here's a quick pic of that one's headstock:

Oh yeah. The fretted will be done getting its matching headstock this week, and I finally ordered one of those little LED flashlights for the Luminlay dots after having them put in almost two years ago :D

No. It's a regular radiused ramp in between the radiused Bart pickups. The one difference is I had the idea several years back to overlay both of them with a thin piece of polystyrene to create a very smooth and even playing surface. I did something similar with my Elrick basses several years ago, except I had to use a very thin ramp over the pickups as they weren't radiused. It was a bit problematic as I had to drop the pickup height quite a bit. The radiused Barts on the Zon though allow the use of a very thin piece of polystyrene to be attached with double stick tape, which lets the pickups stay close to the strings. You can see how close it lets me put the ramped area to the strings in this video:

My fretted is finally done after being at the shop for four months and should be here next week. I was getting really antsy- I have no idea how you must feel :D
