None around that I know of, that's why I'd like one…black hardware, too.So did you ever try the sb-2000?
Well we can build you whatever you want when you're ready. A 30 min drive and you'll have access to my whole shop. Not much I haven't done on an SBNone around that I know of, that's why I'd like one…black hardware, too.
I'd be happy with the right SB-2 if it had the tone control.
BTW... I need musicians if you know of any guitar or drums. Desperate!None around that I know of, that's why I'd like one…black hardware, too.

Iron Maiden and G&L... If she divorces you, I'll marry you! lol... Not really. Here's my Steve Harris G&LView attachment 3048732
This. And use the leftover $700 to consult with the divorce lawyer I'd soon need.
You would have to buy it used. I got my USA Lakland preowned. Best 1500 I ever spent.I just played a Lakland USA made bass at guitar center in Fort Collins, CO. It was one of the smoothest playing basses I have ever seen and the sound was just round and smooth. I would buy that and the ampeg tube head from the music go round there and be set for life.
Still paying off my favorite G&L…3 more payments!Well we can build you whatever you want when you're ready. A 30 min drive and you'll have access to my whole shop. Not much I haven't done on an SB
Dig that SB!.Well when you're ready, hit me up... I probably have most of the posts and electronics already. But n L setup would be super cool to do!Still paying off my favorite G&L…3 more payments!
I have one of the nicest L2000s around...never would've been able to afford it without Affirm.
I was hoping to buy this SB-2 on reverb, but it's gone.

Thanks, didn't realize you were that close.Dig that SB!.Well when you're ready, hit me up... I probably have most of the posts and electronics already. But n L setup would be super cool to do!
Hell yeah. Have a place in Toms River and another by Stockton College. Thanks, didn't realize you were that close.
It's a dodge of the question and IMO the answers are more interesting when you tighten the decision criteria. "I'd buy a used MIM Fender for $300 and use the other $1700 to pay off my college credit card" isn't exactly a functioning answer to the OP's question. Again, IMO.Actually, this just shows how many people would either prefer more money to have for other things, or just plain don't need/want a $2000 bass.
