Origin Effects BASSRIG

I'm having a blast! These two sounds very good indeed. And both can do a very good clean sound as well as some dirty ones. But as others have stated before, I think the Super Vintage excels at some higher drive settings, though I really like it's clean tone too. And the 64 can get a bit fizzy with too much gain but overall it sounds very good.
I have a headphone amp with two XLR inputs so I can pan between the two, unfortunately with the mix 50/50 it sounds absolutely amazing…

Having in the past run a Broughton SVPre (Ampeg in a box) into a Broughton SSDI (Fender tone stack), which sounded uh-may-zing, I would try running the Super Vintage into the '64. Just for poops and giggles.

min super vintage finally arrived. i've owned 15 SVT's over the years ranging from 1969 to a 2007 VR and this pedal definitely cops the feel and TONE of them very accurately.

Getting off topic for just a moment... This past week end, just for kicks I put on a funk-rock beat, and recorded smth short double tracking the bass-riff parts... It just sounds so wrong!
Maybe I have no clue how to pull that off... Now, I have put stereo flange and chorus on a single track bass, and it sounds amazing, especially in an 80s like vibe piece...

This is really not helping especially since I have no idea when Origin will be shipping the BassRigs to Canada...
Way to early to have a clear winner, I honestly don't think there is one. I have to play a lot more with them both and especially in a band setting. But if I have to choose, I'll choose both.

I'm just waiting to see how you modify both of these to make them even bettermy 64 is delayed (thanks A LOT fedex), but my vintage is out for delivery today.

Mine arrived this afternoon and I've had a little time with it and the sounds are devine.You have a switch that will activate either the Bassman or Showman preamp.The roundness and warmth of a cashmere sweater or beginning of breakup to angry grit, it's all there.I'm sure one of the usual suspects will offer a comprehensive review before too long.I love what I'm hearing thus far.From the sound samples heard online the Vintage Blues' SVT tone stack sounds great,but since I'm expecting my Shiftline Flex arrival soon I have the Ampeg tone covered.These preamps aren't cheap but as one would imagine Origin Effects hasn't scrimped on any aspect including build quality.Tank like construction.I know I have only touched the tip of the iceberg dialing in tones so I'm gonna go play now.

the clips above do sound similar however, i have had a tone hammer for quite a few years now and while i love the pedal, it doesn't really feel or sound like the super vintage to me. IMO, the super vintage has more transparency and clarity to it's sound, and sounds like a real SVT.

Master Effects Super 400 has you covered.An excellent Boogie in a box under 3 bills delivered.A bit more if you want XLR out.He makes quality stuff north of the border.
