The pedal which you seek is the BlackArts Toneworks Coven. Od (black forest) and fuzz (pharoah) in one pedal w separate controls.. You can run one or the other, or both, and change the order. I have one and love it

OFD was my first thought...I hadn't heard the aftershock before - that sounds pretty amazing...I was looking for a pedal to play some type o negative tunes, and I know Peter Steele uses a ds-1 (and I have one), but I want a pedal that does a different flavor of that type of distortion...good suggestions here...not hijacking the thread, just thinking out loud...

My fuzzrocious cat tail with the 2nd distortion mod does that job spectacularly.
Also earthquake devices has their new Bellows pedal that's worth checking out.
On the cheap a used rat pedal would do it.

I think the JHS Pandamonium might be the pedal for you.

I like the Black Arts Toneworks Destroyer for it simplicity. All or nothing, two switches, one knob for the OD control.

I've been using a ss/bs TAFM for this. Delicious low gain OD, stomp the gate for fuzz. Also has independent fuzz, drive and clean blend pots, among other tasty features. Might be my favorite pedal.

Never tried a Battering Ram, but that sounds like a fresh pedal too.

For $75 they modded mine with a clean blend, and it couldn't be more ideal for bass.

I saw a video on utube the other day - it was an Ashdown Nate Mandel (Foo Fighters bass player) signature drive pedal.
It has 2 drive channel switches with the possibility of adding them both together to make 3 drive channel sounds

I don't have one but it did sound pretty cool - maybe check Ashdown's website or u tube ??

You can get light to heavy overdrive with the blue channel and if you crank up the gain and OD on the red channel and engage the colour switch you're well into fuzz territory. You can then toggle between the two. I picked up a VT2-Twin-EQ-Std-Bass secondhand last year and I use it all the time - a fantastically versatile pedal.

I can recommend the Wounded Paw Battering Ram. The overdrive on it's own can go from a smooth bluesy grit to gnarly. But switch on the fuzz... and the octave and things can get pretty dire for your neighbourhood

You can do this with TAFM. You can set the fuzz knob to low gain, combined with the right amount of clean to get a really nice OD sound and then kick the second switch to go into fuzz territory. I think it was @blindrabbit that told me this in the first place.

Most overdrives can be pushed into fuzz land by either maxing out the drive / grit control or adding a clean boost in front of the overdrive and hitting it with a very hot signal. But...an overdriven fuzz will sound like an overdriven fuzz. There are lots of different types of fuzzes available and an Overdriven Fuzz in one of those types. Gated Fuzzes and saw tooth Fuzzes are different and generally don't have much overlap with overdrive circuits. An OCD is a heavy overdrive / Fuzz pedal and a good example of what an Overdrive Fuzz sounds like.
I like the overdriven Fuzz a lot, but I also like a Woolly Mammoth Gated Fuzz and a Swollen Pickle saw tooth fuzz.

The nice thing about the OFD is that it covers a lot of great pedals in one box....but it doesn't allow more than one at a time though...so no cascading and if you need to hit the OFD hard with a hot gain, you'll still need a hot bass or a clean boost in front.
